Skipped forza 5, but with Xbox live gold free program, I chose to play it some hours this week. still feels great.
What makes me sad is that FM5 DLCs aren’t available to be purchased, or just plain removed (hope this is just for me)
and it looks like old contents literally cannot survive even in dusty attic in DLC era.
And past year Forza Horizon was gone end of life, so who knows every Forza games might meet same fate.
I felt that I saw just empty dark hollow - Rivals, world leaderboards, auctions, all bright online-integrated features of Forza suddenly gone and became holes.

Only the Top Gear pack, included in the Game of the Year Edition (the one currently sold digitally) is available.
But before criticizing Turn 10, let’s notice that other DLC are also missing from the Store. A Search for Forza Motorsport is returning 41 results for me. And I remember some 3 pages or more of results.
Forza Horizon 2 content is also missing.
And both games, Forza Motorsport 5 and Forza Horizon 2 are available to purchase. So no delisting. Delisting means game and extra content. It’s a Store issue. Temporary hopefully.
Indeed, that would be me. Strange timing to release the game on Games for Gold while at the same time ending support for the DLC (if that is indeed what is going on here). I will definitely enjoy the game that IS available but I gotta admit I would like to check out some of those DLC cars and go for some of those Achievements.
Just knowing I had all free DLC and Top Gear from GWG but no way to list them is confusing to me,
how do you even verifying that those works when you only try out one type of car per champoinship.
Since the game isn’t listed among your games, lets hope that it’s temporary and it will list again and just locked in the shop.
Also they should make a end-of-life statement and have a final dlc sale.
T10 should announce this kind of moves propperly before players got stuck with unobtainable achievements. The same case occurs when they give Horizon with gold months ago, but they announced it few weeks in advance so I had the chance to download and play all my content before goes forever. T10 being T10 at it finest
The game came out like what, 4 years ago? It was time to stop supporting it. Anyone who hasn’t gotten their achievements can’t blame T10 when the games been out for 4 years.
And? Plenty of other games still have their DLC up years on from release. The very least you can do is give advance notice that the content is going to be delisted.
As far as I’m aware, all the Need for Speed games going back a fair while still have theirs up. The Grid games still have theirs. Possibly the Dirt series too.
Well this isn’t those other games. FM4 went EoL in 2015. About the same amount of time FH went EoL. Following that pattern one can assume that every 4 years the game will reach EoL. They don’t need to give advanced notice.
Since 10/04/2017 the game no longer boots up for me am getting “Make sure your subscription is active” screen, account is definitely active and the game was downloaded for free in September!
This really sux! I just got the Game of the Year Edition (knowing that FM5 was delisted) to play it a bit for Archievements. When i startet it, in the very first Menu, where i get a free car there are approx 5-6 cars to chose marked with DLC. The whole Market Place states nice cars and things but nothing to buy.
When T10 deliste it and marked it end of live, they should patch it, that all these Marketplace things are out of the game.
And seems that there are no buyable keys anymore for Europe, i wish i bought a car pass key.
