just thought I would start this so everyone can tell how they setup awd rally cars for rival events.
The only thing I change if needed is change my dampers to get my wheels back down on the dirt faster.
7.0 for rebound and 6 or 6.5 for bump.
I always soften my springs and raise the ride height.
Soft front ARB, stiff rear.
Soft springs.
I do not raise ride height much. Maybe 2-3 clicks off minimum.
High rebound, low bump (this is how I tuned for FM5 as well).
Max front aero, lowish rear aero (sometimes without a rear adjustable wing).
My base diff settings are 50,0,75,0,65.
Roadrunner open source tunes for FM5 are ARB 1/40 and dampers of 13/13 for rebound and 1/1 for bump. Those are extreme settings but start with those and trim from there. In short don’t be shy to try extremes.
Lots of negative camber.
thanks for the info , I never tried that on f5 but will give it a shot. I use a lot of you rtunes so I respect what u have to say.
