I have been tuning rear wheel drag cars for a while with success. But having issues with all wheel tunes .I know one way not to tune a AWD and thats like a rwd. It dont work.
Can anyone give some tips on the suspension and Differential for a basic awd tune.
something that was shared with me is this accel at 100% on both diffs torque split start at 75 and work your way up to 90% no more than that . tire widths do make some differences on some cars. also the suspension settings are a bit different too . not sure how you tune your rwd cars on the springs/dampers but what has worked for me on my awd rival cars is full stiff springs and max ride height damping start with what you run rwd and tweak from there
Maybe that helps. I will work on it and let you know the results. Thanks
I’m not sure if this helps but I normally put the diffs at 100%, all springs at max stiffness, and the camber at 0.0. This setup works rather well for me but it is only for cars with 850+ hp and torque, anything less and this setup might not work the best but will to som degree.
