In a bit of news we weren’t expecting, when we arrived at the Forza Motorsport 6 preview event we learned that there would be two new steering wheels coming out for the Xbox One. One of those wheels is the Logitech G920. When we played Forza 6 we used the wheel and did a quick video of our first impressions of it.

Since we had such a great response from the community with our Dan Greenawalt interview we decided to post the link to this video here directly first before it goes up on MotorworldHype.com.

Thanks for the quick look. The G920 looks decent, a bit small in the reviewer’s hands. But it should be one solid performer…

Since the other wheels that are currently available are junk, the CSW V2 should fit right in.

And when you say “build Quality”, that infers that the wheel is falling apart. Suspect componentry or subpar parts may fit your argument better.

To the OP’s defence, it appears that he doesn’t know about Fanatec’s quality issues, and he’s presenting an unbiased look at the wheel.

I disagree, hes merely basing his judgement off the shiny metal casing.

If you are going to review something to any degree, you should be aware of the issues. Take away the shiny metal case, and its trash.

When you’re finished grinding that axe, clean up the dust and replace the grinding wheel.

not sure what you lot are on about but I have a logitech G920 with forza 6 ultimate and it’s freaking awesome. Turn10, MS and Logitech did a great job getting this fully working and supported from day 1!

Don’t worry about Dust and myself Pete. Dust is just educating people on these forums about Fanatec suspicious quality control, and for the most part; he’s right. At times, he’s a little overzealous with his argument. Which just rubs the cat from aft to stern, and makes him appear to be so curmudgeonous. LOL

I’ve just watched a little bit of your twitch stream on the G920. Thanks for getting into the resolution on the pedals, I feel that ISR’s review needs a second opinion. Waiting to see what more users and review sites say about the G920. I like the wheel though, and it may end up being what I will purchase to replace my current wheel, a Fanatec CSR.

I currently have the Thrustmaster TX, and i was very impessed at first, until i had an issue and then I had to experience their terrible customer service. I know Logitech isn’t know to have great customer service, but i am still considering the G920 to replace the TX.
