I do all of my skill perk point farming over next to Hunter’s Lodge in that open field. Recently I’ve noticed while I’m driving the AMC Gremlin (for this week’s summer forzathon 5 million skill point challenge) when I hit some of those piles of logs that are low on the ground it will clear my skillchain, other times I will hit them and it does not.
Normally I use my Renault 5 to do skill perk farming but I’m trying to get the challenge. When I’m using the other car I’ve never had a skill chain broken from hitting those, very confused. It’s also frustrating when you’re close to the 500,000 10 point cap to have it popped because of a dumb pile of logs on the ground
I’ve had numerous normal Wreckage targets arbitrarily break my chains, which is particularly frustrating when building up long chains while skill point grinding.
The row of bins in the parking lot by the beach will do that too. If you hit them side on and plow through all five, it’s likely to break your chain. But if you hit them head on and only take out one or two, you’re usually safe.
