So, I’m just now playing the latest Donut Media HiLow story. And the number of errors that appear in the translation, in the subtitles is huge. I don’t want to offend anyone, but it looks like no one took the effort and at least tried to do some proofreading and test it.
For example,
um… translated as micrometer
solid drive translated literally as hard drive, not as good drive
big one like: Hi team translated as “Cześć Team” (Cześć in polish, is a form of saying hello) rather than left as Hi Team
Flatbed in Low Car mission 6 translated literally as flat couch!!! (płaska kanapa, instead of correct word laweta)
Go, instead of being translated as drive (Jedź), was converted to something that is more like the impersonal form of the verb go (Iść)
in addition to a huge number of minor errors, in such numbers that I can’t present them all.
A lot of words that are correctly translated per se, but in the context of speech do not make much logical sense. Plus, all the slang, translated without making the slightest sense.
I must say that the number of errors is so big, that the entire translation needs to be done all over again!!!
