When I click A to start the game, it loads forever then crashes

Please submit a ticket and attach any video captures you may have of the crash.

You might have to wait a month for a generic copy’paste response that will be no use to you, though. Just saying.

Same here. worked perfectly yesterday, now just crashes out.

On PC too: exactly the same, has been working fine; went to load it today and it gets as far as the loading screen with the Mclaren Senna moving through the seasons and crashes. Nothing has changed on my system - I’ve checked the usual auto-updating suspects (Windows, Office and AVG) and they’ve not done anything in the last 24 hours.

On Xbox 1 X this evening, I get the Senna splashscreen, and then FH4 tell me that I need an update, which is not available at this point.

Also FM7 report that he could not connect to the servers (so no rivals, no forzathon,…) but I don’t know if it is linked

I got this at about 6:15 local time then my XB1X (and my XB1) crashed and all I get now is a black screen and the side bar that is unresponsive.
I am in the UK.
Any ideas?

I am getting the same issue on PC. I played the game with no issues this morning but now constant loading loop then crashing

After nearly 1 1/4 hours of blind panic in case my XB1& XB1X had died of the same trouble. They are both back up and running.

Know not why but they are. Hope others in the same boat have had their’s correct themselves.

By the way, what was the update that coincided with this little episode tonight?

Glad you’re up and running again - I’ve still got the issue on PC though (As of 19:38 GMT) it could be it’s a fix that’s being rolled out to Xbox first.

Xbox live core services are down. It might be this is the issue?

I found that out after my XB1X righted itself.

Funny though I thought I could not play FH4 without an update tonight at 6:15 UK time but I have after 7:45 and my FH4 is showing the last update was 15th January 2019! Have I missed something here?

I’ve been getting this on PC as well tonight, glad it’s not my end that’s the problem.

[Mod Edit - Abbreviated profanity, profanity and profanity that is disguised but still alludes to the words are not permitted - D]. Once it loaded back up I would force quit all my application then load Forza horizon 4. Once on the screen where it says press to start I would press it then it would load. After I would load up Xbox app then sign in while the game is loading still. Then it would give me an error saying couldn’t find the update error code… Once that showed I would click ok the. Click start again then it would load all ok for me. This might help but not a fix tho

I guess the MS Store is having issues too. I thought maybe uninstalling thae game and reinstalling it would help but nothing wants to download. Im about to give up.

how long exactly do i have to be locked out of something i paid £90 for b4 i can ask for my money back … and pls dont suggest i send a ticket

2 days and counting and not even the courtesy of a reply to my post … just direct me to the refunds page please

btw this is not the sole reason for wanting my money back , this is just the final straw with your buggy badly thought out broken game

Having the same issue on PC. Weird because I can see other players on my friendlist playing FH4. I also played earlier this afternoon with no issues. Any updates?
