I’ve just installed the standard edition of the game (Game Pass). When I try to launch the game it starts with the Senna splash screen but then crashes back to the Xbox dashboard. I’ve seen many posts stating the same issue but have seen no solution. Any help would be appreciated.

Works on PC… but i want it on my xbox.
Update:
What I did to fix it…
Uninstall the game from the xbox,
Restart the xbox (turn off and unplug and wait 45 sec )
Start it
Install from the xbox store on the xbox
Worked for me!
Guess the installer from the PC to Xbox thing has some bugs on Forza.
I have the same issue but instead of crashing it gets stuck in a never ending grey screen. Also a game pass download so could that have something to do with it?
My game pass download is doing the same thing. Ive reinstalled the damn gsme about 7 times now and nothing works…
Have you tried hard resetting the Xbox? This would consist of turning the xbox off and unplugging the power cable for 10 seconds before restarting everything back on.
We have noticed the current issue with crashes and are currently looking into getting this fixed.
So ive done everything one could possibly do to make this work on my end. After 8 installs and still crashing I give up, maybe ill check back in 6 months once you guys have your [Mod Edit - Abbreviated profanity, profanity and profanity that is disguised but still alludes to the words are not permitted - D] together and fix these issues.

Yikes. After 3 days I would be hoping for an ETA for this fix.
I’ve also tried everything, including hard resets, cache clearing, several re-installs.
There’s something really wrong here. The game was showing up as the demo version, which was a red flag…
You know what’s really damning? If I load up a different user profile on my Xbox, the game launches and works fine.
This is a huge bug. If you can’t fix it, then roll-back the last update as it caused more harm than you obviously intended.
At this point I’m about ready to delete all my saves and start over because that’s the only way I’ll be able to play. Insanity.

I have reset my router, my MAC address, cleared local saves, reset xbox before and after my installs, and im currently on my 7th install hoping that resetting my MAC address might change something…
Mine never started, wont start, my profile, my sons, my wifes. Nobody can play FH4 on my box

Bought one also but after installing, in only runs until the screen menu. If I press the A button, the loading menu will not finish and goes back to the xbox home menu. Hope they could fix this immediately.

Yep, same issue here.
Same problem here. I’m brazilian, internet here sucks…48 hours to download the game and it just dont work. So desapointed.

Just bought the standard version of this game and it’s stuck in the start game loop. Pressing A does not start the game whatsoever. Was the full release not tested in between the beta and now? I would hope it was. The ball was dropped for the Xbox release.
I had the ultimate edition and got a refund thinking it was a problem with the digital version I found out that wasn’t the case. The disk copy crashes on me too and nobody is acting like they give a crap about it

I ended up deleting my local and cloud saves, started the game over again and now it works…
All that work down the tubes though.
Hey guys, was having the same problem, fixed it by uninstalling the game, then playing before the D/L was 100% complete. Hopefully this works for you.
Hopefully this helps some of you. My game wasn’t loading. It would load the Playground Games and Turn10 Studios load screens fine with audio. Then it would sit there cycling through the video of the car and say press A to start. There was no audio and no matter how many times I pressed A nothing happened.
Solution: I spoke with and Xbox advocate in a chat and they suggested a hard restart on the Xbox which may sound dumb but I never heard of this. You holed the on switch for a full 10 seconds even if it turns off before you count to ten. What this does is empty the cache. Now everything is working fine. Like I said this sounds dumb and easy but now I can play. Hope this helps.
I bought the disc and downloaded it then when i go to play it it loads up to the starting screen then i push A to begin playin’ then it starts to load for about 5-7 sec then it just crashed to the xbox dashboard but im hoping if i update it that problem stops (Original Xbox one)
