Why is Lexus grouped into the “United States” country category when it is a division of Toyota?
Lexus originated in the United States despite being a division of Toyota. Similar to Acura for Honda and Infinity for Nissan. Essentially all of them were luxury brands introduced into the American market to compete with other European luxury brands.

While we’re on this let’s bring up Australian Fords being listed as American and not Australian, leading them to be exempt from the Aussie category blueprint race.
That I have no explanation for, chalk it up to laziness on playground/t10’s part I guess.
