Left stick loses control in the Rivals mode after updating controller

When I play in the rivals mode with manual clutch on, in order to break the track time record when turning to the right, at some point the car starts going straight and the left stick does not respond for a while to the right turn. This happened after updating xbox s to the latest firmware 5.23.5.0. I tried connecting the controller to different devices via different cords, Usb ports, Bluetooth, all the same. But I didn’t notice this in free riding. So far, this has been observed only in competitive events.

Gameplay - Car stops steering left or right and goes straight ahead

Bug Info: since the latest update, in Featured Multiplayer, the car sometimes (at least once a race) stops turning mid corner or before the corner. Controller still works and everything works ingame except going left or right. After a few seconds it works again, but obviously the race is over when you drive straight ahead in the tire barrier.
