I’ve been playing this “from the ground up” for 12 months now. Something changes every month - “from the ground up”. Now I play 2-3 hours a week because there are just too many inconsistencies.
You live and learn what is being “tinkered” with.
This forum is not the right place to talk or write about the game. This forum is a marketing platform. The right place is the real world store. Quality is when the customer comes back to buy more of the product.
What T10 hasn’t yet realized is that only real fans are on the forum so often. The “fake” fans have long since left the building and will not return, no matter what they try.

I played consistently from day one, haven’t played much since the last 2 or 3 updates. Always something else broken. Sad game really.

It’s gonna take a while for them to outlast the dreaded “from the ground up” catch phrase, but there is fun to be had in this game, and hopefully it’ll only get better.

I am finding more and frustration and it being a drudgery and work grind, and I only do work when I get paid. So I get my great racing enjoyment and happiness elsewhere, but at least there are much much better other options. I have less and less expectation that they can get it together.
Yep, I have so little faith that this game will ever reach the levels of any Forza other than Forza 5.

The problem of the game is, only the cars and tracks work halfway decently. The rest is garbage. The menus and UI suck, the “career mode” or whatever you call it sucks etc. sure the most basic things work, but that is not enough for a game. A game must be so good that it somehow makes you want to play it nonstop and FM23 doesn’t do it.
I remember Gran Turismo 1-4 making you wanna play it, this Forza simply doesn’t do the same for me like these old games did back in the day.
Why I mention these old games? Because I never bought another console after Playstation 2 and the original first Xbox and NEVER will buy a console again.

To have fun, everyone has to find out for themselves what they enjoy. I’ve found peace with Forza Motorsport 2023 by not playing often. If I’m annoyed, I quitt and play something else.
Game was good , I played a lot for past year… Till they 46 up open class multiplayer lol.
Up till they added 3 rotating class races everything was going fine, but with multiclass, and later adjustment to tyre wear and 46 up open class by limiting to only one class rotation, and joke in form of daily rotation, just killed all my I treat in playing this game.
