Leaderboard Cheating

Why didn’t they fix it so cheaters can’t get impossible speeds on the leaderboards?

They don’t know how it’s a joke

After 20 years of the Forza gaming brand, every new Forza game continues its tradition of:
leaderboards topped with cheated/glitched times,
major car/build/tune performance imbalances,
bad AI/NPC drivers,
multiplayer infested with rammers,
& having only one option for adjustable race aero.

the AI in solo races, either dive bombs you or push you outside the road. They actualy promote this gameplay, and you expect ppl to get banned for doing the same in multiplayer?

All of that is a problem, because you cannot compete on equal terms. However, they will never pay attention to us; at most, they ban those players if you report them, but their statistics still appear on the leaderboards. I highly doubt that Forza will ever solve this.

100% agree

I’m almost sure devs don’t know which speeds are actually possible and how to automaticly detect something impossible RELIABLY.

Like ok - 1000 mph is unlikely and easy to detect but what about say 20% boost in speed or grip? Was it cheat or just a good car?

Ok lets assume we added check on theoretical lateral and longitudinal accelerations for given speeds (it will be two charts generated for given car/tune) - I guarantee at least lateral ones will be WAY above of that achievable in practice - so when someone hits 99% of that theoretical limits - was it Max Ferstappen or a random guy with a cheat? (a cheat smart enough to keep you within theoretical limits is easy-peasy for cheat-writers)

Take stuff like this for instance. It’s on every board and has been on it since the first week. The dirt rivals could be the worst I have seen since FH4. Don’t even get me started on the auction houses, and the AI purposely ramming you during PR stunts or just free roam. They have a long way to go. It’s obvious that 5 years wasn’t enough for them to get this game up to par. I am sure a lot will be done in the coming years for us. We also have to remember every forza game is about 5 years..so we have a long long ways to go. I hope they fix all the minor stuff before it completely takes over the game play.
