I really love ‘Forza Motorsport 6!’ From the gameplay, to the sound, to the graphics, weather, 24 car grid, etc… But when I see people be dirty, use leaderboard cars all the time or cut corners I hate it. The worst is a cheat. I really hate it! I can purely tell that some times on the leaderboard are ridiculous. If you see a time with the same guy beating everyone else by a few seconds or a lot of time in the lobby you are racing in, with a time thats impossible to get, please vote to kick them! Not only that, but report them. People who cheat with bugged tunes is the one thing I hate more than anything on a game. It ruins the game for everyone driving very cleanly, fair and super fast without being a cheat. Please report people or tell your friends. The quicker we eliminate these cheaters, the better the community will be and the game itself also. Thanks for reading. Hopefully something is done about this soon!
Considering you can net 0.800 from a good turn, 2 seconds a lap is nothing. The top guys can post a better lap in multiplayer than you could in rivals
That is true, but I mean like a huge amount that seems impossible! Like the top 50 on a track get a 1 minute on a track for example & then the top 10 beat them by 5 seconds in the same car? That’s what I meant.

Go watch some R Class leaderboard replays around Bathurst. Nearly everyone is using the Ultima. A 1:55 will get you into the top 50 or so but I think the top time is 1:48 or 1:49. There’s something like a 3-4 second difference between the top and bottom times just on the 1st page.
You’re just underestimating how fast it’s possible to be and overestimating how fast you are.

It could be possible that it’s a lag issue in which the gears are actually longer than the replay is portraying them to be. I remember watching a Failrace video where everyone is to stay in one gear, which they did. However, the game didn’t understand this, so it sounded like they kept upshifting and downshifting when they were just in one gear.

Of course corner cutting is cheating but using the best car or being the fastest driver certainly isn’t. Even in stock Pinnacle leagues where everyone is relatively fast and everyone is using the same car there can be 2 or 3 seconds per lap difference between the fastest and slowest drivers. In a public hopper with mixed skills and open-season on cars and tunes that difference is more likely to be 10-20 seconds per lap.
I’m reasonably quick, relatively speaking, but I’ve seen the very best drivers set times in multiplayer using 2nd-tier cars that I can’t beat in Rivals even using leaderboard cars.
I guess. But some times are ridiculous and I’ve watched some and they don’t seem right to me. I have got some times in the top 50 in the same car, but all I’m saying is some people don’t seem right. I’m just saying

“Leaderboard cars” are part of the game and many out there like them. If others like to race with them, who are we to stone them for it. If people start to vote them all out, hoppers might become empty. I like some of them and race them. If someone don’t like me racing them, tough cookies. Leaves me to think why T10 changed the previous versions of the kicking system.
As Ne said, there are people out there that’s just incredible fast and I will certainly be slow to accuse them of cheating unless I can substantiate it. Just because some are a second or two or more faster than another certainly does not mean they are cheating. If there’s reliable evidence though I agree with you. If not, just accept they out of your league and move on. Reporting someone without evidence or without substantiating serves no purpose to Forza authorities.
The leaderboard times are not inclusive of “cheaters” who are cutting corners or doing anything the very skilled players would not be doing.
Contrary to online races where we see cutting for the sake of winning, those who are “cheating” by doing those corner cuts are NOT receiving leading time listings anywhere because their laps would be automatically invalidated by virtue of the cutting.
Those folks are only cheating themselves of validated times and aren’t nearly as fast as the legitimately quick drivers.
Lol you’re over reading this entirely and being rude saying how I’m underestimating how fast I am and being sarcastic saying another possibility. This is supposed to be a nice post. Not to be frowned apon. There are cheaters in games and I know for a fact there are some people in the game who cheat. Lots of my friends have said a few are by researching their replays etc. If someone beats me in a race but it was very close, that’s fine. Why are you over reading what I’m saying. I’m not going to be the best on every track, but some people seem to be no.1 on most. That’s all I am saying. Just agree to disagree…
I’m not being rude, I’m just calling a spade a spade.
I know some of the guys who are near or at the top of a lot of the leaderboards. I race with them regularly. I’m a sort of top-50 to top-100 sort of level, or middle-to-top-half in Pinnacle, but those guys are way, way, way quicker than me. On most tracks using the same car and the same tune they’re easily a second or more per lap faster, and on the hardest, longest or most punishing tracks the gap is even wider. I’d love to think there’s some other reason they’re a few seconds per laps faster than me around a given a track other than that they’re just better than me, but there really isn’t. They’re just better than me. They’re slightly smoother than me, and take slightly better lines, and brake slightly later, and carry slightly ore speed through the apex, and accelerate slightly earlier, and make slightly fewer minor mistakes, and all that adds up to seconds.
I can’t think of a single leaderboard time that I find spurious. Do you have any examples?

There’s a lot to say to be honest. I’m just saying with evidence there are definitely a few on the game with bugged tunes! I’m in the pinnacle lobby, but some peoples times on spec racing were questionable and everyone was saying so thats all. I really hope there isn’t any cheaters, but if there are i seriously hope they get reported!
They are just faster than you. That’s it. There are no bugged tunes or cheats with clean times.
Are there builds that make no sense that turn stupid fast laps? Yes, but that’s not cheating.
Are there insane laps that should be dirty but aren’t because of issues with out of bounds spots? Yes, but it’s not cheating if the game proclaims that it is clean.
Are there random impossible #1s where someone is many seconds faster than 2ND? Yes, but that’s due to glitches in the game, not a cheat. It randomly happens in every forza game.
Well yeah, there are people who cheat, but there are also people who are very, very fast without cheating, and you need to be careful to not confuse the two.
If someone who isn’t conspicuously fast on other tracks posts a lap time that’s 5 seconds faster than everyone else on a cut-able track like Yas Marina in a stock Pinnacle race and it’s a dirty lap, then you can justifiably suspect cheating, but if it’s a clean lap or you’re on a track with no cuts then they’re almost certainly just that good.
I hate cheaters too Pro W, I make sure that I NEVER EVER make contact with another car deliberately. If I was prepared to spin, pit or shunt a slower racer just to gain position I could be podium in pretty much every race I run in Enthusiast.
But as it is, I race meticulously clean even though I’m constantly blocked and I settle for mid pack most races, which is actually okay with me because you tend to get overly aggressive racers at the front, and total nutters at the back.
Even though I agree with you, I think you’ve caused a little controversy because you’ve stated specifically that somebody should be kicked for setting very fast laps. Which is wrong unless you specifically see that person cheating, never assume anything. However I understand what you meant, even though it’s a bit heavy handed.
I have to say I completly disagree with you. I haven’t seen anyone cheat other than dirty corner cuts or just plain simple ramming to gain position. Turn 10 have managed to completly remove the ability to cheat the leaderboards. Unlike forza 4 where there was clearly hacked laptimes on the leaderboard and it was possible to run these hacks in the lobbys. I have seen this first hand and can guarantee you this is not happening on forza 6
Like zee I’m top 100 I race with him alot our laptimes are virtually the same. We race people that are much faster than us. Usually we are 1 second maybe 1.5 seconds behind the fastest times. That’s until a track like bugatti comes along. Me and zee will do a 1.33 where the fast boys will get sub 1.30. That’s not a glitch or a illegal tune it’s pure skill from the likes or rossi, faithless, redline, razor and so on.
Take it from me, if you see a clean lap on the leaderboard, public hopper or in the league it’s legit
