Language Filter

Trying to create a card for super 7. Can someone please tell me what is the offensive term being used in the description I have used….?

“As a new member of festival security, your first job is to deal with some drunken behaviour. Get there fast.”

Thanks in advance for anyone that can find why I can’t post it. It’s now taken me longer to edit the description than actually set the route and drive it.

Pretty sure it’s drunk or drunken - it ignores context, and just bans the word(s)

Y’know, in case you’re encouraging people to. erm drive their… computer games under the influence?

Has to be underage friendly, remember.

(maybe “deal with some gasheads” instead? )

Maybe it’s the word drunken lol

Haha. I swapped out drunken and it still blocked it.

Has now been solved, it was the word ‘deal’ that the game didn’t like. :joy:

Drunken. Try replacing it with unruly.

Edit. Just saw your follow-up. LOL. The filter makes zero sense. It bans common words and often allows profanities (that players rightfully get banned for).

I often drive while intoxicated in game, makes it mor fun, but I am 57 so well above the age. Lol

Probably the word “member”.

It also takes issue with the “San” in San Sebastian and San Juan. I think the forbidden word list is curated by a bot.

The word “Ego” is flagged by the language filter ?? Attempted to share new Ego Battery Charger design for the new Extreme E Hummer. “E Go” is even being flagged ??!

So how come it shows up then?

I’m pretty sure he’s referring to the in-game filter for livery names and keywords. The one that bans BBC. Someone had once found it banned the number 31, I have no idea why. I had found it bans the word Lime. I tried to use the Plymouth color name Limelight once, and it was blocked. Took forever to figure out what it didn’t like. Strangely, the Dodge color name Sublime is okay.

That’s what I was thinking too. Sooo… a copyright issue ?

Oh yeah the ingame filter. It doesn’t allow ‘suicide’ for Suicide Squad. or ‘kill’ for Kill Bill.

It’s even stupider than that… for example I have found words that alone it allows, but put them together, and it won’t allow them.

Also why we’re talking about stupid stuff like this…

Anyone notice the great pains they went to in order to remove “SS” from every American muscle car that wore the badges and changed their names to say “Super Sport” instead of “SS” meanwhile the [Mercedes-Benz SSK] has “SS” in it’s name but avoided getting the ax or the name change to “Super Sport” - and ironically: It’s a GERMAN car… the entire reason they went stupid over removing “SS” from the game. (Nazi iconography in any form is not allowed in Germany IIRC - thus, “SS” gets the Axe.

Interestingly, the in-game filter is okay with SS.

Well… it was until now  I’m sure somebody will be assigned to that, stat !

I don’t often care about PC going a little over the line but yeah anyone who doesn’t get that SS on cars stands for Super Sport is lacking in basic education. Not everything under the sun (dare I tread that close to a filtered word ?) is an issue of some kind. And the types who get their knickers in a twist over something like that are exactly the types who wouldn’t know a REAL issue if it slapped them in the face and kneed them in the nethers.

Germany has eased those restrictions recently. I know Wolfenstein 3D is no longer banned there.

With all the nannybot censorship of all the wording and designs and such, I have to ask this question…

Why if you can’t paint the 69 Dodge Charger with the General Lee designs, why is the car’s base color the General Lee orange?

Are the developers slipping in a subtle little slant there? Showing us how to slip around the guidelines?

Actually, I have the 69 Charger FE painted with the General Lee design.

You can get a ban for that. If you use it in a public lobby and you come across an easily-triggered woke person that sees fit to report you.
