Language filter weirdness

I put an Exhibition blueprint together where the entire field had to be made up of Volvo 850 R’s. Given their reputation for being built like tanks, I tried to call the race “Have a crash, it’s very safe” but apparently that fell foul of the bad language filter!

Very odd…

Likely because it’s very close to “let’s smash, it’s very safe.”

I would not be surprised.

Here’s a hoot!!

Wouldn’t let me post this “inappropriate” picture. Since then, I’ve only screenshot my photos and never upload to #forza servers lol…

It checks filename as well.

dam thats funny just how many times did you try to upload it

For quite a while, I couldn’t name any of my car tunes “Goliath”… because they were tuned for Goliath.
It’s OK now… So, this could just be weirdness.

Again, these are NOT game filters. They have been in place on Xbox Live since the beginning of the service.

There is no use complaining about things rejected by the filters, unless you wish to voice your opinion over on the Xbox.com forums. There is nothing Turn 10 or Playground Games can do to alter those, they’re “system” from Xbox Live.

So, I’m trying to take a photo of a car on FH3, for a skit/roleplay thing, and there’s a message that keeps popping up that says:

“INAPPROPRIATE CONTENT: You specified something that was locked by the language filter. Please try again.” Um…What? Yeah, right, like the word ‘PROJECT F,’ ‘PROJECT CAMARO,’ ‘PROJECT CAR,’ ‘PROJECT,’ ‘CAMARO,’ or ‘FORZA’ are in appropriate words. This hasn’t ever happened before.

This is irritating. I’m pretty sure that I’m not breaking any rules. So, if anyone can help me, and tell me what’s going on when I try to upload a photo to the Forza Gallery, it will be much appreciated.

commers hyphens and several quotation marks can be seen as invalid characters when dealing with file names and such

Am trying to share a pic of my design for the reliant but keep getting blocked by the language filter

You will need to change either the file name or description I got blocked using Top speed 230mph in description so had to change it to Max speed 230mph the filter is weird and run by Microsoft so guessing it. was thinking I was advertising the bad Speed some people use

During the last forzathon, I created a blueprint championship for the morning commute challenge. I tried to name it “Forzathon Fourth” but, was told the title contained inappropriate language. It sems the word Fourth was the inappropriate word. Why was this word not allowed?

I’ve been trying to take photos on FH3, and there’s this message that keeps popping up on every photo that says:

“INAPPROPRIATE CONTENT: You specified something that was locked by the language filter. Please try again.”

Um…What!!! Like the word “PROJECT F,” “PROJECT CAMARO,” “PROJECT CAR,” “PROJECT,” “CAMARO,” or “FORZA” are in appropriate words. This happened a month ago, and I didn’t bother to upload any pictures since then, and it’s irritating. I’m pretty sure that I’m not breaking any rules. So, if anyone can help me, give me tips, and tell me what’s going on when I try to upload a photo to the Forza Gallery, it will be much appreciated.

Because “Camaro” is a curse word in Elvish. “Project” has a lewd meaning in Dwarven. Also, I’m pretty sure “For’Za” is Klingon for something wildly inappropriate for a E-rated experience.

Pretty soon we won’t be able to name a picture at all.

I tried to share my carbon LaFerrari paint the other night and it blocked “FXX K” in the keywords list because… lol “fxxk” the x’s could be skewed as censors for the other four-letter word. Meanwhile the car name isn’t censored within the actual game UI itself…

Someone answered your last post on the exact same issue

I think “DLC” is also a curse word. Whenever I want to say something on my club’s board with “DLC” in it, whole message is deleted because it contains inappropriate word. I have to use substitutes.
