I’m loving the game so far, which is why it’s gone 3AM where I live and I’m still playing it. There’s just one thing that’s confusing me. I tried uploading a picture of me racing in the rain and I got an ‘inappropriate content’ warning. Apparently I ‘specified something that was blocked by the language filter’ but I don’t see what. The caption I wanted is this:
“Racing in the rain, so much fun!”
Can anyone see a problem with that? Because I can’t.
This isn’t a Forza Motorsports problem, it’s an XBL problem. The profanity filter seems to have been programmed by someone who finds approximately one-sixth of the words in the english language to be offensive.
Just a few of the words I have seen cause issues:
“red”
“upper”
“rapture”
“star”
“obteuse”
“convenient”
Kinda hard to take these words “the wrong way” and get offended by them.
(and when you see some of the GTs out there that somehow get through, it makes even LESS sense…)
As we’ve been saying for 10 years, the filters are Xbox Live generated, not the individual games. If you have objections to what is being rejected, you might post in the appropriate forum over on Redirecting
At least the right people would be seeing the information by doing so. They don’t monitor individual game forums for such information.
