So, here’s the thing. I title my photos with a progressive number for practical purposes. But apparently the word filter refuses to accept any number >1137 as the title of an uploaded picture. Is that a temporary glitch, or it’s how it works period? If it’s not how it’s supposed to work, does anybody know how could I fix it?
Gemma, it took me 3 attempts to post a notice the other day, banned words HUH, all i was doing is posting a notice that we are in the club lounge on this forum
Yeah, the word filter makes no sense. I have two Porsche 934-style liveries for the Ruf Yellowbird (just some simple fender flares), one in white the other in orange, and according to the word filter “934 Orange” is perfectly fine, but “934 White” and “934” contain banned words.
Yeah the word filter is from Xbox Live not Forza. In the past my wife had an issue with a paint she made, she could call it ‘surf’, or ‘abstract’, but not ‘surf abstract’. lol
When it comes to numbers you have to remember that people replace letters with numbers to mask profanity, so most things with a combination of numbers and letters get banned to err on the side of caution. For example 4=A, 3=E or B etc. With the combinations possible you can quickly figure where that leads…
Avoid using descriptive words that can at some point be used as a derogatory term. words that could depict skin color, body parts, are pretentively out of use, for this reason. If you think this is bad, You have never played Dark Souls 2 on PC. The game filters out parts of your character’s name with stars… Don’t plan on naming your characters Assassin Cheese, or Dark Knight… they will be filtered.
When I went to share my new livery for the 6R4 that I just made, I selected the filters for it, and then put in a description for it. I can’t remember what I typed exactly, but it was along the lines of “#2 1991 European Rallycross Metro 6R4”. So, I went to upload it, and the game got angry and told me there was offensive language in it. I tried again, same issue. I deleted the description and left the box blank, still inappropriate language. I restarted the game, same thing happened. There might as well not be a description box if every single word in the dictionary is apparently inappropriate.
