Kicked for car choice?

Last night I fired up my XBox and tried to enter an online circuit race with a bone stock ‘Rampage’ SRT-8. I was just sitting in the lobby watching everyone choose their cars when someone said something about ‘Rampage’ on-mic and a vote to kick me was started. It got enough votes almost as soon as it was put up. I don’t think it had anything to do with me, but with my car choice. It was to be my first race of the night, and I always try to run clean laps with no contact. I don’t trash talk. I suck as a racer and usually come in last, but I do try to stay out of the way of other racers. I’m just put out that people would kick me for choosing the wrong car and wanted to vent.

this sort of happened to me about a year ago, i was in a drift lobby and i had a Lexus Lfa at the time, so the lobby host bumped down the pi limit so i couldn’t use it. i understand its not a conventional drift car but still.

Ok first of all you choose whatever car you want fella. That people are still worried about what othrer people use is ridiculous. Nothing wrong with the rampage srt8. Infact its bery competitive with a good tune on it so you carry on using it till you see fit to do otherwise. Dont let random C U Next ThursdayS tell you what you can and cabt use.

That car wouldn’t be competitive in my hands no matter what tune, nor any other car, but thank you.

You will get there. I used to suck big time but i can hold my own now.

Happens more than you think. Someone just gets an itch up their butt and decides to vote kick someone else for giggles. But many of the vote kicks are put up because someone else doesn’t want to get kicked themselves, so they either vote the track or pick someone else randomly to get vote kicked to save their own butt. Then there’s the people who see a good veteran driver come into the lobby and because they know they can’t be that person, they put them up for kick. There used to be a big crowd who would kick someone just because they didn’t have a mic. I personally don’t like being in lobby chat listening to little kids scream at the top of their high pitched lungs, so I put myself in an Xbox group chat by myself and don’t even put on a headset, so I would get kicked a lot back in the day by the Mic Mobs.

This happend quite alot to me in the R3 Lobbies. All it took was to win 2-3 races in a row and you could bet that someone put you up for a kick. Most of the times i simply asked why, and if it was beacuse i was way much quicker than the rest of the lobby. Sometimes that worked but 8/10 i got kicked out.

I never had to worry about winning 2-3 races in a row.

Lucky you. (and no, no intentional sarcasm there)
