that kick you from lobbies for no reason. Racing ABC’S recently and I guess they voted to kick me 'cause I placed 1st OVERALL 3 races in a row in a C-class car. Or better yet, once, I joined a lobby, the game “auto-picked” an SUV for me, I was not paying attention really but, I did notice that there were INSTANTLY 6 votes to boot me. Lol, race started, I instantly pull over to the grass, stop, and just sit there for the duration of the race. Race ends, I’m up INSTANTLY, AGAIN for a boot, they succeeded this time. Downright amazing. Do these shenanigans happen to other folks?
It happens all the time. I and many others have sometimes been kicked from a lobby before even having a race. At least on FM4 you can create your own user hosted public lobbies like back on FM2. You are in control then. Unfortunately we can’t do that on FM5. Sadly it’s the way many people are who play Forza - Immature.
Bloody Oath
Kicking in lobbies is a funny old thing.
I’ve been kicked from lobbies simply because people (and their buddies) don’t like me because they know I’ll give them a good run for their money. And to them, that threat, and risk of not winning, is ample to get rid of me so they can hot lap and DNF the field. It does suck, but I find much better enjoyment from community created leagues, tourneys and championships so venturing into public is rare for me.
Having learnt my trade FROM the public lobbies, I know a lot of people take a dislike to leaderboard cars. I can see their point because if a modestly fast guy comes along in one, if they hit the front they’ll be long gone and it’d take a lot of something to beat them.
Also in a lot of higher class lobbies, people like using ridiculous missile cars that do nothing other than cause chaos in the first sector because they’re largely uncontrollable from the off, driven by people it can be said who aren’t in the same league as TPR and the likes!! So I can see why people vote those who use those cars.
Other than that, it does its job, anyone doing any dirty business, crashing, corner cutting, can get booted out the lobby which is fair play, and is mostly what happens. It’s sad that, with the powers vested in us, that a proportion of people abuse them.
HMR has it right,k ive been in public lobbys along with my clubby and saw vote after vote for a gent to get kicked, my clubby saw that the driver in question had no small skills and we watched him try to go to the front time and again…shame really, he quit after shenanigans from the other drivers. sad, but true. Immaturity, unwillingness to take a challenge on, and being ok with not being No1 all and everytime is sad.
have a great day guys!
I kick anybody that’s playing music…i don’t wanna hear your crap
