Can all the people who don’t have any issues with the game please leave this topic and not return? Nobody cares that your game has been working as it should. People are having issues and for you to continue the “my game is perfect” posts is disrespectful to those that are having issues. T10 don’t need you to be their white knight so stop defending them and the mess of a game that FM7 is.
I second this motion, From the day of early release till Nox 7th update this game was a total trainwreck for me and I had to keep going with it because of my extended holiday and once back to the grind I will battle to do just the Forzathon and raise CR for the SD. My game now is fairly stable only 3 CTD’s since Nox 7th and a few disappearing assets from time to time but that is like the holy grail from where it was. I haven’t forgotten what it was like for me and fully understand why people are upset. If you want to support T10 then consider that this forum is moderated and social media is not so unhappy campers are better to post here even if it is a gripe, something you do not agree with or you are looking down from your high and mighty I have no issues so what is your problem throne.
So only those who have issues with the game or have a gripe with it should get to use these forums? Turn 10 should only get to hear the negatives about their game and never any positives? I’m enjoying the heck out of the game and am able to play it just fine. Sorry your having issues but it’s a pretty entitlement minded comment to ask those who are enjoying the game and not having issues to not comment.
Did I say not to post on the forums? No, I said stay out of this topic. This topic that people are posting their issues in. Issues you don’t have. Nobody cares that your game is working, especially the people who are unable to play due to these issues.
Why wouldn’t want to hear from players not having an issue? How do you know you don’t have a connection issue, hardware issue, etc? FYI I don’t have many issues with the game- love it on the X in 4K.
I don’t think he meant not wanting to hear from players not having issues in general and was very clear with the original statement. If someone is having a bad time and getting issues and someone jumps on that particular thread and implies their game is fine so there are no issues. I have been on both sides of the fence and changed nothing on PC here yet T10 have managed to sort most out via updates so it is in the software and multiplatform will always cause some headaches.
If people are having a great time and enjoying the product they should start a topic and point that out.
While it’s true that some people have issues and some do not, or that some have more issues than others, you have to agree that posting random issues in a forum topic with a hyperbolic title is not nearly as effective as properly reporting the issues, bugs, crashes, and error codes to tech support. Who knows what they do with those reports or which ones they actually act upon, but the forum and forum moderators have nothing to do with solving these problems. If all you want to do is vent, then be my guest, but be prepared for others to have differing opinions.
I really hate all the time I’ve wasted trying to get FM7 & the Microsoft Store to work. I scour the Internet for ideas, try them, one finally works, I get the Store & FM7 going again, and then they break. Why?!?
This time I ended up creating a new user account on my PC to get the Store and FM7 to work. Why?!?
How long will the new account work? When will I have to create another one? Will that one work? Who knows…
I enjoying playing FM7, but I refuse to keep troubleshooting it for more than 10-15 minutes when it breaks. One day I’ll just give up.
Just about every game out there has bugs and issues, especially on PC. I play on Xbox One mostly and I’ve seen them. I hate to say it but early adopters will always end up experiencing the majority of these things. I saw some weird graphical and clipping glitches in the first five minutes of Assassin’s Creed Origins even. Both Project Cars games aren’t perfect either. All of these games are decent games though and if you’re willing to either wait to purchase or wait to see if bugs are fixed the experience should get better. Well unless it’s Skyrim Special Edition and they didn’t bother to fix most bugs.
My game works fairly well most of the time, but I have had CTD on more than the odd occasion. I just send all of my log files and crash reports to the Forza team (unless it’s for a repeat issue, no sense clogging up their emails with repeatedly reporting the same problem). Hopefully this will go some way into helping them investigate the problem(s) and fix them. You wouldn’t go into a garage and say “my car’s broken, fix it” without at least giving them an idea where to look ;0)
In my teenage years i worked in a small garage in my town (not as a technician though but as bookkeeper and assistant on busier days), and i can tell you that is exactly how it goes. They have literally no clue what is wrong with the car, hence why the come to the garage to get it fixed. No problem though because we had enough tools and experience to figure out the problem ourselves and fix it.
@OP They may fix it somewhat by the time the next Forza is out, but not anytime soon by the looks of it. Or Turn 10 may try to fix the game by removing more features, that seems to be their way of fixing things.
@holden4ever Yep, same old few going around jumping on the negative comments, telling people how perfect the game is working for them and how they love it because they only play single player. Luckily thats not the truth because this is the worst Forza to date and only Turn 10 can change that.
Whats funny is those that enjoy the game seem to spend more time on here than playing the game.
Hello all.
I must admit that I am rather enjoying this game.
Divisions are interesting, as its good to have something new.
Would be nice to have the old style leaderboards back as well… hint.
Most games nowadays have outlandish bugs and glitches, so its almost become the norm to expect them due to deadlines and rushing the games out.
Would be nice to have some kind of communication from T10 regarding the many issues players are having… but over the many years some of us have been playing… T10 have been somewhat silent.
I wonder how many people have actually been playing?
Leaderboards are mostly empty compared to previous titles, so T10 could take that as a hint also.
Oh my, I have waited this long to buy this game intentionally hoping any bugs etc would be ironed out because usually that’s the way it goes unless youre Bethesda.
Genuinely amazed, shame because the game is currently on sale but since I’m on pc a bit concerned about random crashing reports.
sorry for those dealing with this stuff
I was one of those individuals who had no issues with the game, but that was because I was strictly playing single player. The minute I venture out of single player to do literally anything else (rivals, Forzathon, painting, etc.) everything is broken. Now the bugs are finding their way into single player. Check out this sweet paint job the game decided to give my Viper (which originally has completely stock, untouched paint).
