Is this the end for Horizon 2?

So it seems its the first of the month and no Horizon 2 news, maybe because they don’t want to take the focus off the Forza 6 demo or maybe because they’ve finished with Horizon 2.

What are your thoughts on this, do you think they’re saving something up their sleeve ie another 1000 club(fingers crossed), maybe another car pack or do you think last month’s Playground Pack was the swansong?
I personally will be disappointed if that’s all for Horizon 2 but goes without saying Horizon 2 is my favourite game of all time so thanks Playground and I’ll look forward to hopefully Horizon 3 next year.

It’s been a year, and most games never get a full years worth of DLC support , so I am thankful for that, and with Forza 6 coming very soon, I am not real upset with the DLC ending for Horizon 2. Time to pour my money into the new hotness.

Two different games, imo? And i hope not cause i think Horizon 2 is way better than Forza Motorsport games.

I doubt there will be more DLC for Horizon 2, simply because it has always been this way for Forza games. However, Forza Horizon 2 had more content than Horizon 1, and there is just so much to do in that game. So, I think Playground Games is now focusing on Horizon 3 (if it will come out) or another project.

This game has had quite a good run, reaching a very standard, especially for the second game of a studio. Playground Games is very professionnal, but I doubt the Horizon concept can last forever. I think it is getting ready for that.

In retrospect, this game has lasted way longer than many Forza games, but I am still hoping for a 1 000 Club, to end it in brightness.

I have played FMS 2, 3, 4, and 5 as well as both Horizon 1 and 2 extensively. I much prefer the Horizons.

I very much hope that next year at this time I will be looking forward to downloading Horizon 3.

this is odd to say considering i’ve only played the one version a few weeks but, it has to end sometime right? I mean it’s been out a long time. That said i still have MUCH to do so it won’t end for me… that’s for sure! i’m sure i will take a break when 6 comes but i still need to get storm island and Porsche pack!

I’m still holding on to hope they add in the the 1000 club #2 or something THAT would make it perfect and complete. Doooooo it lol

Forza Horizon 2 will still live on but I wish the 2017 Ford GT is available for Horizon 2.

I hope it doesn’t end honestly. I love the free roam aspect. Sometimes I just plug up the Thrust Master and cruise. Would still love to do that in the One:1… Playground cough cough. I really hope they don’t stop with the Horizon series. It’s a lot of fun :slight_smile:
