Well, the transition from last gen to next gen has happened nearly a year ago. Do you really expect dev’s to put much effort into a last gen game at this point?
Its simple: Get an Xbox One or live with whatever is being offered on the old platform

Well it never was gonna be as good as Horizon 1 as its just for people who can’t afford the Xbox One, it is after all cheaper and on a 10 year old console, my copy arrives Friday and I will play it to death cos I loved Horizon 1, I’m very jealous of the Xbox One Version especially after seeing the photo’s thread 
They didn’t have to do an Xbox 360 version at atll but they did so I’m greatful as won’t be upgrading til Christmas next year due to costs, the 360 version will be fine til then, I’m not expecting it to be the same by a long shot, that way won’t be disappointed.
You shouldn’t waste your time insulting Sumo, they did what they could, It’s Playgrounds baby and they do it best, that’s always gonna be the case.

I agree that we should be happy that they did do an 360 version. But like you said, it’s Playgrounds baby and there are some very bad decisions made. Still no news on DLC, VIP and more. Bad online play modes, like no free roam lobby’s. This can make Playground, T10 and MS look bad as well, cause it is still their baby. T10 en MS logos are even on the 360 box. Result may be that people won’t buy Forza games or Xbox one any more, cause of how they did the whole H2 thing on the 360.
Still, I will play it and hope to have fun with it. The Xbone is just a few weeks available in my country and too expensive now (especially due the fact I drive with a wheel, and need a new one for the Xbone).

What did you really expect?
The game has many good points and some bad points. It has some of the same things as horizon 1 had, and its a lot different in other ways. The graphics are ok. Horizon seemed better, but this open world is much bigger. Some of the graphics are better, like the sky, most the cars, the taillights, and other things., but some other graphics are not as good as horizon 1. Some of the streets and landscape along the roads is not as good as horizon 1. The more i play it, the more i like it. It runs very smooth, giant world, NO loading of landscape or objects as you approach them. It has some features, like perks, that horizon didnt have. Its layed out pretty much the same as horizon. The graphics on the buildings don’t seem to be as good as horizon 1, but if you look close, they are better in other ways. There are a lot more lights on at night in houses, there are many more balconies, over hangs, etc, and some of the buildings are 3d-ish, as in, you can see in them, which makes them look better.
The online part is a lot different than horizon 1. You race in 4 race heats, voted on by car class type. I didn’t like this at first, but as i race it more, i see how its just as fun as single races. All 4 races in the heat are different, with a winner, second, third and so on in each one. After each race, your given CR and xp, etc, according to how you finished. You are given points for your placing in each race, and that is tallied, and then you have a “overall” winner of all 4 races, that being whoever accumulated the most points. and your given extra xp for your placing. So its like a race within the 4 races, so to speak. You can even join in late and still win the overall, if you do well in what races are left. Its different, but its fun! There is no lobby online freeroam. You can invite friends and recent players to your single player and turn that into a online free roam. I dont like that they dont have a lobby for online freeroam. i hope they add it.
Overall id say, its a lot different that horizon 1. I like them both equally. They both have good and bad points. Horizon 1 is way better in some ways, and horizon 2 in better in other ways. Its way better on the Xbone, and i expected that. I wish i had a Xbone, but its pretty good on 360 and im glad to be able to play it and they offered it for the 360.
All big game releases have a while of getting to grips to sort out teething problems

And it won’t damage the reputation of the companies unless it is really badly handled
Its ported over from H1 so its gonna have the same problems ive seen, like the BMW 1M and E92 M3, even if the day time their rear sidelines seem to be on, and even on the XB1 theres same problems Fm5 had, not being able to paint certain areas of cars, some people are experienced freezes in gameplay, sound problems etc, would be nice if they fixed these before releasing
Not sure what you mean by “rear sidelines seem to be on”. If you mean ‘rear lights’, it should be expected to see both front and rear lights to be on during daytime as this is the law in most of Europe.
As for certain issues with the game, some won’t be discovered until you have a massive amount of players playing the game. Not all game play situations can be tested until the game goes live.
