Is the 787B really the only capable P class car?

I don’t have the VIP pack so I haven’t used it. I know it’s been good in the past. I haven’t spent a lot of time racing P class cars largely due to the fact that I seem incapable of setting good leaderboard times without the 787B. I thought the Toyota One might be able to compete, but it seems it’s still a few seconds slower on most tracks. That being said I’m no expert in P class. But virtually all the top times are set with the 787B. Looks like the One might be competitive at Le Mans, it’s fast. I’d almost consider getting the VIP pack just for the 787B if it truly is the only car to compete with on the leaderboards. Kind of a shame, though. It could have been a more interesting class to tune and race in.

Even in Forza 4 the 787 was the car to beat. The Toyota wasn’t very good in 4 and it isn’t any better in 5. Wished we had the Sauber Mercedes and the Lola/Mazda and others instead of the Toyota:(

I may just be biased since it’s my favorite LMP series car, but for me personally I find the Audi R8 a better drive than the 787B. Mind you I don’t do to much online racing, but as far as hot lapping goes I’ve consistently beaten my 787B times with the R8 after only a couple of laps. It also feels less “Twitchy” to me, it’s easier to get back on the throttle sooner out of turn without it feeling like it’s about to slide the tail out.

I like the 2009 Peugeot 908 its pretty good but not as good as the 2011 version of the car in Forza 4 which is my favorite LMP car in the whole Forza franchise. Still haven’t tried the 787B since I don’t have the VIP car pack and I didn’t buy the car pack that had the car in Forza 4 either. I did buy the August car pack for Forza 4 a couple of days ago and I must say the 1989 Sauber-Mercedes C9 is pretty good wouldn’t mind if it shows up in a future DLC car pack and if not I hope it returns in Forza 6.

I’m a fan of the 787B as a car, I’d have no problem driving it. It’s been my favorite in previous racing games. I’m just not certain I want to shell out $20 for a car pack in which it is all I’m interested in. I’ve spent some time in the Audis and in the new Toyota. But even after I’ve approached my limit in that car, I’m still much further off the top leaderboards than I would be in any reasonable R class car on the R class leaderboards. Perhaps I’m just not as good as pushing the P cars to their limits, R class is admittedly my favorite and probably best class. It seems to me that there would be some more top times with the other P cars if they were in fact equal, but the 787B dominates on virtually every track.

In my opinion any car is capable, the 787b dominates the leaderboards, but they can all run top times if you put in the time with them, personally i run the S class right now so I haven’t made my way there, but the 787B is by far the best sounding car i have ever heard

you can buy alot of the cars individually if you dont want the whole pack. its more expensive per car but if you only want 1 car …$3 is cheaper than $10.

To be honest, the 787B probably is the best P class car, but it doesn’t exactly help that it is the most popular as well, if it were the least popular, sure it would still be in the top 10 for hot-laps, but less people would drive it, less people would have the practice with it to post those insane lap times.

Fastest P class car hands down.

I know the Mazda 787b is a very competitive car but i find that the FWD Nissan GTR-LM NISMO is a competitive car for online hoppers. earlier today a 787b couldn’t keep up but with the Mazda being RWD it is better coming out of corners but the Nissan is not too bad either for FWD
