P Class Cars...Are they good??

I like to play FM5 online specifically the P Class with the LMP cars and what I noticed was the Diesel cars like the Peugeot 908 and the Audi R10 E-tron Quattro have to compete with petrol cars and it’s absolutely useless because diesel cars can’t keep up with the petrol one’s. I’m writing this from the bottom of my heart to beg you, turn10 to include in this month DLC 4 to 5 race cars. I don’t like the Ferrari F333 SP and the only alternative the players have are the Mazda 787b and the Audi R8 Team America which players can obtain them in only in DLC’s. My suggestion is to add the 1999 Toyota GT-One, 1989 Sauber C9 or the 1978 Renault Alpine A442b.

I’m looking forward to hearing from you!

Note: In future DLC’s stop adding Ferrari and old american cars please.

Your post has hardly anything to do with the topic name. Although I agree with you in terms of the cars you wish to add, this thread is a wish list and will undoubtedly be locked soon

I haven’t really used them much in FM5, but the diesels in previous games did just fine. Diesels make up the top, fastest class in real-world endurance racing like the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Including other car does not mean they will be competitive with the Mazda 787b now given past experience the Sauber C9 could be on certain tracks (in fact likely dominate Le Mans) and I would not be surprised at all to see it as a DLC sometime in the future.

Not played p class for a while amd don’t have the road america pack, is the Team America Audi competative against the 787b or is ot still a one car race? The Audi is the only car tempting me to get the pack as the other cars don’t really interest me. If it’s not competative I’ll stick with my Mazda.

But I like old American cars and well old cars in general because they look cool and have character.

I find most race cars cool to look at but dull to race, well except the sauber, 787 and any panoz.

Opinions vary, though I’d agree more race cars wouldn’t be bad, like 2-3 a car pack maybe? Seems fair.

Anywho, check forzastats. There’s some non 787s out there with good times last I recall. Just got to drive better/faster.

im all for a GT-one… loved it in forza 1

Yh the C9 will more than definitely be DLC I cant wait I loved that car on fm4

Answer to the subject line: Heck ya they are good!

I’d like to see 2+ from each era ( competitive in a FM5 race with each other)

I think its a toss up racing the 908 and the audi r18 - they are fairly well balanced for a race. I remember some pretty good races in GT with the Jag/ Sauber/ Toyota - (1988-89 group C) that would probably make the Indy Oval in P class go to a prototype instead of an indy car on drags. Back to the day of engine smoke hanging in the air and raw V8-12 power.

It be nice to see a pack of Newer LMP1’s (Rebellion Lola/ Toyota Hybrid/ to go with the Audi / 908) and Some LMPC and LMP2 cars wouldn’t be bad. (MAZDA Diesel)

i thought…
— edited: I was wrong it’s diesel.

The issue isn’t so much the diesels as it is the 787B being so good.

The others are pretty well matched overall. The R18 will suit certain tracks better but the others can do pretty well at other tracks.

The E-tron is great to drive but it cant match the Ferrari 333p in lap times (which is also great to drive but I dont like the look of it),

I find Peugeot car window far too small to look out so I dont use that at all. Which is a shame as it a nice looking car.

The Mazda is DLC so I havent got this, but the LB is dominated by this car.

The '06 Audi again is DLC, they we’re great to drive in previous Forza’s but why did they bring back the '06 it’s really ugly! The latest version of this car from Forza 4 looked pretty good, it’s a shame they didnt come back instead.

I’m hoping a DLC pack as it gets closer to Le Mans will give more of these cars, especially the more modern ones like the E-tron so we can make up a modern day grid. Same goes with the GT2 cars, I’d like to see more choice as at the moment we just have the BMW/#4 Corvette, #91 Viper and the #62 Ferrari. How about adding the Aston Martin Vantage from last years Le Mans?

P cars are the best!!! I love the Lotus E21 etc but it’s just ‘too’ perfect, P class cars have similar speed but much less grip and imo more fun than X class.

Toyota TS030
Sauber C9

I’ll ignore every other game fault if these two turn up and can match the Mazda (well tbh I fully expect the C9 to become the next LB car judging by Fm4).
