I got forza 7 in a bundle with my g920 wheel. Been a bit sceptical about downloading it as I understand it’s gotten a bit of backlash from the community, not just from sim racers. But from the general forza fans as well. I have forza 6 and I’ve sort of grown out of it as I’m more into sim racing and fm6’s wheel support isn’t the best. Yes I know all forza games aren’t sims but I’m talking about overall enjoyment, even if that means playing with a controller. Or even just to have around when I don’t feel like sim racing. I also want to know if it’s considered an improvement from release, and if it’s had enough of an improvement from release. Thanks

No one can say whether or not downloading the game is worth it to you, but you’ve already paid for it. Download it, try it, and if you don’t like it, delete it. Nothing to lose but some time (and I guess bandwidth if you live in an area with caps).
Already got it so might as well play it. Some improvements have been made. I’ll hand it to T10 for trying to make the game stable and improve functionality.

The wheel support is allegedly improved quite a bit, at least. But, really, many games that I ultimately hated were still “worth downloading” to try out…
To echo the others, you already own it so you might as will give it a shot and see if you like it.
IMO it was always worth downloading, even on day one. Most people just like to nitpick…that’s the nature of the internet. Happy customers don’t talk, and forums become flooded w/naysayers.
Your point is? One I got it in a bundle and it was the only available g920 within the store, and I wasn’t buying online so I had to get it to avoid another wait for new stock. Keep in mind I live in Australia so our prices are more expensive and overseas stock is severely lacking. Secondly it’s not my fault that this game has sparked controversy within the forza community enough for me as a forza fan since forza 4, would have to ask the community in order to see if it’s actually worth playing. Also note that I didn’t initially want the game as I’d seen plenty of reviews discussing its glitches, lack of multiplayer rules and only slightly improved physics. To me I could just stick with forza 6 but I’m interested to know after giving it some time to settle in.
Some people just can’t think for themselves can they?
Just play the damn game, if you don’t like it you can always come back here and waste hours of game time moaning about it.
Just to point out this game has gotten a lot of mixed reviews, and it doesn’t exactly take 10-20 minutes to download a game with my internet. I’d be pretty angry if I waited for more than 10 hours just to realise I don’t like it. There’s a reason why people still ask these questions about games such as this. I wouldn’t be asking if most people hated it or liked it. Try to understand that.
I complain about certain aspects of this game quite a bit, and I still say its worth the download to give it a go. The first complaints pertaining to the VIP bonuses have been resolved, and a lot of the other stability and event glitches seem to have improved. It’s still far from perfect, but most of the remaining complaints come from specific gripes with how some people played past titles (e.g. locked cars, homologation, graphical / detail mistakes). If you don’t go into the game expecting perfection, the actual game play is quite enjoyable in my opinion.
I’d say start up the download before you go to sleep or to work/school and let it churn while you’re not actively waiting. It is worth at least trying.

There are a few cosmetic bugs and some issues with the car select screen being a bit slow but nothing to really be too concerned with. The actual game play works exactly as it should and is really great and stands as one of the best racers out on any platform.
No this game is the worst in the series easily. Auction house is controlled through a socialist style economy where t10 controls everything. No freedom to really unlock the content, it’s just a matter of waiting on t10 to release some which has ruined the game for probably 60 to 70 percent of the community from what I’ve seen. Others seem to think by holding back they r making the game more enjoyable but to everyone else and the majority it has made the game very boring very fast.
I doubt that having less than 10% of the over 700 cars locked away has ruined the game for the majority. A vocal minority, perhaps, whose melodrama is put into perspective by the number of cars actually available.
If you weren’t so ignorant about your opinion you would’ve realised in one of my previous comments that it takes a very long time to download games to a point where it fails sometimes. So to me it’s important to ask whether it’s worth the wait or not for a game that gets a lot of mixed opinions. Comparing it to food doesn’t do it justice because when you buy a Big Mac with a drink it’s cheaper than the game, and generally you know what’s in it. I have no idea if this will be forza 6 which extra features or an actual game worth playing. Also note that I couldn’t buy the wheel other than getting the bundle which meant I would’ve had to wait another 2-3 months and I also couldn’t get the wheel without the game.
You’ve been lurking around here for two days since you’re OP. You could have downloaded the game several times by now.
It makes no difference how or why you have a copy of the game. You either try it or you don’t. This thread serves no purpose other than to start arguments. You clearly aren’t interested in the popular response which is simply to try it.
