So im cutting to the chase…If you own Forza 6, and now weve all had time to play Forza 7…was it really worth the upgrade, I mean investment in a new game? But before you answer this please go back and play F6.
Personally after playing F7 for many days im convinced the graphics and environment graphics are better on F6. And I dont like being told what weather I have to race in.

I went back to FM6 for some multiplayer action, and have to admit the environment and car details are much better in FM6, and the cars have more attitude.

I’m considering switching back as well, I’ll wait and see what improvements they bring upon launch of the Xbox One X, but indeed if you’re sticking with the regular X1 you might wanna stick with FM6 and I am dead serious about it!

I am under the impression that Forza 6 is XBox only? I am on PC, and never owned an XBox so aren’t am not really sure as this whole play it anywhere thing is new to me.

I own Motorsport 6 and Horizon 3 both to and I am LOVING Motorsport 7. Not perfect but for me it is the best Forza game since Forza Motorsport 4. Love the tracks, love the vehicles, love the audio and the new weather stuff to. The crates are another story though, no need for them.

Dude, I was overthinking this yesterday - and did go back to FM6/H3 for a while. FM6 absolutely wreaks of quality and completeness, but we have to keep in mind that it’s a game that got several patches to resolve issues and subsequent updates made it better in many ways.

So I’m confident that my fun and satisfaction factor in FM7 will steadily rise as the patches and updates start rolling in. Cheers!

If you have doubts wait for Forza 7 to bake a bit more. Patches content and price will drop in the meantime. Really we know it should be better than it is right now, but in 3-4 months it’ll probably be a much better experience

I have all Forza games on XBox One. While FM7 feels to me a superior game to FM6 (basically the same game but a bit better in some areas) there are some downsides as well. Most noticeably :

  • Forza Vista got a massive cutdown, I don’t like it :frowning:
  • Graphics in FM7 can be gorgeous on on track but look dull (and worse than in FM6 on another track)
  • I’m not a fan of the driver gear, I wish I could turn that silly dancing rag doll off so I don’t have to see it anymore and it doesn’t block the view of my car in the menus.

It’s overall a better game than FM6 though. What I like the most :

  • Better car handling than in FM6
  • nice speed immersion from the shaky camera and shaky car bits
  • sound improvements
  • better career mode even though it basically roughly comes down to the same thing as in FM6

What needs fixing URGENT :

  • the absolutely horrible AI that rams you off the track, bumps into you, leans and sticks on you.

Forza 6 is pretty much better in everyway, I’d say fm7 is a downgrade

I find it a huge improvement. F6, racing felt stale. I hated the tire model, pretty much every car over A class just wanted to oversteer. It was a chore to play. Forza 7 might have more grip but the grip also feels very progressive, cars feel good. I can catch the cars before it oversteers off the track. Not to mention, Forza 7 is actually exciting to play. Maybe its the new camera effects, the lighting and the new grip model. I can’t go back to 6, ever.

Stop starting threads to grind your axe, you like FM6 more than FM7, feel free to play FM6. Problems sorted, thread closed.
