Same problem here.

I had this problem after updating to the Windows Fall Creators update. Redownloading/installing Forza 7 VIP, Hoonigan and Furious car packs in Windows Store fixed it.

Thanks fixed now

guys i have problem with the game when i try to open it i got this “Forza Motorsport 7 is currently not available in your account. Here’s the error code, in case you need it: 0x803F8001”

i reinstall it and work fine but after 12 h the problem is back :frowning:

For me, the best way to fix it is to open PowerShell as Administrator and issue the following commands. Keep the commands handy because you’ll need it if the issue pops up again so it’s not a permanent fix per say, but it’s a lot easier than having to reinstall the game!

Get-AppxPackage xboxapp | remove-AppxPackage
Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}

Same thing happening to me. Every time I try to launch it, it just closes. I got the error code once.

I’m dealing with that as well, the “fix” is temporary but doesn’t require reinstalling the whole game.

Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & Features > Forza Motorsport 7 > Advanced Options, then uninstall the addons/dlc listed there. Redownload them from the Windows Store and the game should start. I had to redo it again after waking my computer back up today.

Out of curiosity, are you also not signing in to Windows with a Microsoft account? I’m only signed in to the Windows Store and Xbox app, but using a local account for the system itself. I’m wondering if that has anything to do with it, as it seems not everyone is dealing with this issue.

hi haccess ,

Same problem now !
I tried yur method and it works well , thank u very much.
I also signed with local account , I’m only signed in to the Windows Store and Xbox app, but I ve this problem since v1709 of windows 10.

Today i have same problem!!

same problem now…
I play all the afternoon without any problem.
Fortunately the workaround works very well delete DLC (not the entire game) and reinstall them , and the game works without the error.

But I m very upset with all these bugs , plz TURN10 fix it ASAP…

only fix for now is remove the dlc and reinstall it again , thank u @haccess

Hi guys,

I just wanted to let you know that I have reported this to the devs. I will let you know when I have more information.

If the suggested work around does or does not work for you, please let me know.

Thanks,

So… None of the suggested work around solves my issue. I’m getting the same error, and I’ve tried removing the DLCs and installing them back up, tried to reset the game/store/xbox app and nothing, tried to sign in and out of the store and nothing as well,

I had a similar issue, tried all of the suggestions and nothing. Went onto the Microsoft Store and just downloaded a random free app. Once I’d done that, the game was playable again. It’s not a game issue in this case, it’s a Microsoft Account issue.

I had the same problem the other day. I logged out of the xbox ap and logged back in. It worked but then today I got the same error message. I think the common thing we all have in common is the windows 10 fall creators update.

All my “Play Anywhere” titles have this error since the Fall Creator’s Update. Reinstalling only works for a short while.

Sign out of the Xbox app then reset it. The game should launch, and you’ll be asked to sign back in to Xbox live You should be good to go after that :0)

I had a problem like this after using ccleaner + ccleaner enhancer. game wouldn’t start either, simply signing out and sign back in to the windows store account fixed it for me, same goes for the xbox app.

I bought the game after updating to the Windows Fall update, installed it along with the car pack, was able to play for a bit and had a decent time with the game. I then went back to play this game yesterday, and had this error: Forza Motorsport 7 is currently not available in your account. Here’s the error code, in case you need it: 0x803F8001

I tried the suggestion of uninstalling the car pack and re-installing it and it did work. However, today I got the same error so I repeated the process, only this time it is not working. I cannot play most of my UWP games (Re-core, FH3, Forza 7) interestingly the only game I can play is Leo’s Fortune… One thing of interest as someone mentioned above is that I used CCleaner as I was sorting out some bits in my drives, plus I uninstalled Forza 7 and re-installed to a new SSD. The game booted up and was able to play but again, this error is not going away now.

I don’t know what has happened, but I sort of get the idea that maybe this Windows update has somehow done something to accounts. I hope this gets fixed quickly as I want to be able to play this game during the weekend (I rarely get the time to really enjoy games and this weekend is my chance for once, yay for time off).

I don’t know if this will help but I play at 4K, dynamic optimizations (except vsync as I lock it to 60hz).
Here are my specs:

Intel Core I7 7700K 4.5Ghz
GTX 1080Ti
16GB DDR4 3200mhz
Game installed on a SSD
Latest Windows build, latest Nvidia drivers
