Implement Nvidia DLSS 4 Improvements & improve tracks with excessive DLSS ghosting

When using Nvidia DLSS and selecting DLAA or Quality, there is excessive ghosting on some track assets such as fences, light post, etc. Some tracks are significantly worse than others. Examples:
WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca
Daytona International Speedway Road
Homestead-Miami Speedway Road Circuit
Watkins Glen International Speedway

Forza Motorsport should take advantage of the new Nvidia DLSS transformer model over the current DLSS CNN architecture or allow for the Nvidia App over-ride feature to attempt to reduce overall ghosting and improve image quality on PCs using Nvidia graphics cards.

Glad you brought this topic into focus. This ghosting can be rather distracting at times .

I hope this gets sorted soon…and hopefully they add FSR frame generation for those of us who dont have 40 and 50 series nvidia graphics cards.

There is hope for all us Nvidia based Forza fans.

I took the DLSS V4 DLLs from Cyberpunk’s latest patch and use Nvidia Profile Inspector to force profile J on the global preset. This in theory is going to be the same as using the “Nvidia DLSS Override” feature in the new Nvidia App that releases at the end of this month.

Using the new DLSS 4 DLLs and forcing the DLSS preset J, I am happy to report that DLSS in Forza Motorsport is improved enormously - Ghosting has been cut down drastically and overall quality has improved as well. I didn’t notice much of a performance hit at all, but I’m using a 4080 super. Your milage may vary depending on hardware used.

I’m hoping that when the Nvidia App update releases at the end of the month, we won’t have to do any DLL swapping and forcing the preset in Nvidia Profile Inspector.

I’ll update this thread when the official Nvidia App releases after I have a chance to see if you can force these settings through the Nvidia App.

seems to work now. you can force the latest dlls version on the game via the app and it looks better now imo - but still not where it should be.

Yep, happy to report I’m able to use the DLSS override in Nvidia App and get the same results without having to do any DLL swaps or Nvidia Inspector steps.
