I have been a Forza fan for as long as I can remember. I absolutely adored the older games (FM3, FM4, FH1), and even some of the later Horizon titles like FH2 and 3. But since 2017, I feel like Forza has gone… slightly downhill. The modern games just don’t have the same charm to them as the older ones do, and they’ve generally just seemed worse overall in different ways.
However, I am really looking forward to the next game. New console generation, hopefully bringing with it some much-needed new content and other new tweaks. As critical as I’ve been with the newer games, I do genuinely believe that Turn 10/Microsoft can deliver something big with the next game, and if everything goes right, it might be the step back in the right direction that Forza needs. It just needs a lot of time and effort, figuring out what the community will want and what is really going to push the series to the next level in order to make this game a memorable one. Even doing simple things like asking the community what they’d want to see via the forums (such as tracks and other features) or social media could go a very long way.
Please Turn 10, keep working hard and give us a fantastic game!
