I’m able to launch FH4 to the point where I have to press enter to continue, then after that it just says “unknown error occurred, try again later”. This is extremely frustrating as I have searched the error code online and I could find absolutely nothing. Any help would be very appreciated.
sounds like you should do a complete remove and reinstall.
on the first start after a reinstall it maybe take an hour to download your cloudprofile (if you had one before and still want to use it) to your console or pc, be patient like hell, don’t stop it.
I have the game on PC and it works so I presume it will be an issue with your PC (not trying to be a smart arse here, I’m just confirming the problem is likely at your end which in a sense is good news, it means you have it within your power to fix it, if you can just figure out how).
Have you tried resetting the Xbox and Microsoft Store apps?
Yes I have tried resetting the forza app, reinstalled it, but I feel it is a problem with my windows installation, some have said that a clean install has helped them and I have been wanting to do a clean install for a little while now anyway, was just waiting for a reason. Hopefully this works as this is the only car game I enjoy rn
Neither FH3 or 4 will run for me now and both get stuck on loading please wait.
I refuse to do a clean Windows install and am updating Windows manually to see if that fixes it.
The support ticket system is useless.
