IMO Forza was the one game that really pushed me over the top and I pre ordered a Scorpio edition. Of course that are many other games I got the system for , but Forza 7 was the number one reason. Have the recent issues/bugs with Forza7 changed your mind in respect to getting the One X

Forza is the only game I play and I am waiting to see how it goes over the next few weeks after release of the X to decide if I make the move. Baring in mind I’ll need to justify the cost of a new 4k TV too so looking at £1300-£1500 all in and considering I can save all that money and still play the game it needs to be worth it for me.

I wanted the X1X anyway, the console itself was the main reason for me to get it. The games were secondary.
This may sound dumb but yes I literally pre ordered an Xbox x because of forza once I heard there is no AI in private lobbies and that is “working as intended” so I canceled my order.

Yes, FM7 was the main reason to pre-order X Box One X. I also went out and got the new 4k TV (and even ended up with 2). No changes to the plan as I am absolutely loving FM7.

You look like someone that isn’t afraid to spend a little.
I recommend you look into Astro Headsets, you will be hard pressed to find a better headset with better virtual surround sound. For even better sound quality though, just pick up an Astro mixamp and pair it with a nice pair of headphones. Maybe some Sennheiser HD or something to that nature.
My honest guess is that in T10’s mind, the “real” release date for FM7 coincides with the release of the Xbox One X and that most if not all bugs will be resolved by that date.
To answer the question, if I had a 4K TV I’d have ordered an Xbox One X exclusively for Forza since racing games are literally all I play anymore and Forza is the best racing game…but I don’t have a 4K TV and since no TV channels broadcast in 4K and other 4K content is limited, I have no need to buy one. 1080p is just fine for me.
Im sitting here typing this looking at my unopened UE.Yes i bought a LG 55 OLED 4k -Project scorpio on preorder.The more i read these forums about all the missing and stripped functions as compared to other forza games,the more im regretting my purchae.I still have time to refund it.Of course the other games i have will still be fun.But this was my one must have.$2000 tv $500 console $100 UE 2 out of 3 aiint bad.Atleast the wife loves the tv.lol.

Yes, although I do not have a 4k tv yes, so I am waiting to see what the X does on a 1080P tv. I hope to see some comparison video’s between the standard and the X on 1080P before I make a final decision.
The bugs in Forza7 bug me (pun intended) but I have more and more faith in the Devs to fix (most of) them.
You bought an awesome tv, but is that OLED fast enough for gaming? I heard some different storys about it but never heard the experience of someone who really owns one. The colors on that tv are bloody good.
Yes its very quick for gaming.Played F4 and a few others on it.Bought the warrenty with it as well.No regrets so.Its awesome.
If its the c7 its input lag is either the high teens or very low 20s for 4k hdr @60 fps, if its the b6 which is last years model than, no, that ones not ideal for gaming.
I enjoy Forza 7 for what its worth, but seeing as I paid for a full price game that is Motorsport 6 with some cars from Horizon 3, i’m looking at a PS4 pro instead, a lot of amazing exclusives I need to get around to playing.

I’ve cancelled my X pre-order, until multi-player comes back properly (ie normal classes plus a rotation of the new divisions) I’m out.
