Cancelled my Xbox One X pre-order today, felt quite liberating tbh!

Anyone else dismayed with 7 and it’s pushed them into doing it?

I’m not that impressed with the graphics posted on line for the One X and feel that we’ll be paying through the nose to get back to the graphics we’ve previously become accustomed too. I’m not dropping £450 for a new console to play a half completed game.

No decent multi-player (over 5000 hours in P Classes lobbies alone across the series)
No class based Rivals
Overly restrictive rules (allow classes and divisions)
Pathetic overhyped dynamic time of day

I’ve kinda weathered the smidgen of extra features we’ve wanted and requested since FM3, I’ve usually stuck up for forza as a decent simcade for Xbox, but I feel utterly alienated and sidelined now. I’ve never been a console lover, I’ve always been a Sportscar fan that’s tried to replicate in some small way some of the sport I love, racing on my own in freeplay is just not cutting it.

I’m used to T10’s marketing being an exercise in willful misassumption but feel this release has been a cash grab. Others maybe happy to wait months for usual features to return. I feel out of pocket and waiting for a game that perhaps may no longer return anymore. I logged in this morning to see the updates, pretty weak tbh.

Update… I already a have 4k TV and media setup and apart from gaming theres nothing the Xbox one X is unique at. I was buying it for gaming.

I haven’t cancelled my Xbox One X order yet but I won’t be buying it unless FM7 improves dramatically!

At this stage all I want is the loading of tunes to be fixed. Mulitplayer hoppers to be updated and at least have more laps and quickstops. At least then I can avoid the idiots online because at the moment its the worst i’ve ever known.

Online Hoppers will be coming soon, according to the last News release, and more info will be out on Friday about it hopefully.

MS will when sales become affected. I’m letting T10 and MS directly know the reasons why. I wont be the only one questioning the value of the One X at the moment.

Theres also the point of buying it for the entertainment purposes and not just gaming. Why spend the money on a laptop or a desktop to get 4K graphics and then a receiver to take that in with a blue ray player for the sound when they can spend the money on the XOX and get 4K movies with the sound all in one? Not to mention the internet capabilities that are on it. Pair it with a computer in another room to stream movies to and you have yourself a small affordable media player that can do a lot for it’s price. Not buying it simply because of one game doesn’t show that you are smarter than them but actually the lack of intelligence you have. And your ranting has proven it to everyone for basing it off of one game.

1 game vs:

4K Blue Ray
Streaming Capabilities of Movie sites IE Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, ect that offer 4K and HD movies
Internet Browsing
Pairing with WIN 10 to streak movies from a computer to the xbox from other rooms, effectively making it a media center
Music Streaming and streaming services
Ect

I think your argument on 1 game vs all that in a system that is only going to be $500 is beyond invalid and even remotely looking at your rant to begin with makes my head hurt in the severe lack of intelligence.

LOL… My TV and current entertainment setup does all this at 4k already, the 4k console is the last of my setup to purchase, I’m pretty much only buying the Xbox One X for gaming as everything else is already covered.

Good rant though.

VIP issue addressed and we were compensated. 2 patches in a week. T10 are listening and active about rectifying things. The much loved stuff missing from MP etc would take more time if they have agreed to add it in because it is whole blocks of code that need to be put behind the new GUI. I am just thankful that there is a buffer (T10) between me and MS coz I have never got anywhere with that route. Have some faith :slight_smile:

I also did not preorder the 1X because of F7.

Also seeing how quick Microsoft locks and bans users just for speaking up here, I wonder if I ever was on the right boat with an Xbox.

To find out now is hurting, as I invested so much in over 200 games.

Also full car grids on Project Cars 2 will be playable.

I’m still getting an Xbox One X as I’ll benefit in many different ways but I refunded Forza 7 promptly, what a joke it ended up being. Oh how the righteous have fallen. Microsoft is digging thei way into too many games and ruining them trying to chase money.

I only wish that I could put an Xbox One X into my budget this year.
I would never buy a pure gaming console just for one game. There are a few out there that I would love to play on the new console. Oh well, at least I have my elite controller. That was worth every penny as I moved from elite league in fm6 to pinnacle within a month of use. ; )
