Change how track voting works in Meetups

They need to change how track voting works in meetup. Im fairly certain its not working as intended, i have an anecdote to share to show what i mean Last night i joined a meetup and it was the worst voted Virginia raceway circuit(north i think.) after 10 or so minutes the yellow text box came up that said map voting in progress. The choices were some short silverstone circuit, and spa. So spa won( nobody voted to stay on track) with about 40% of votes. I then waited a half hour for it to swit…
