Seriously though, hear me out. The custom route creations have some impressively high quality circuits.
And while the feedback is nowhere near as good as Motorsport, it is enough to be playable.
I only play MP in a private lobby with one other friend. So for our needs, this actually worked really well to give us way more variety of tracks. And as the gameplay is much less serious, it was a welcome diversion from the lap times or nothing feeling of Motorsport.
I’m absolutely not criticizing anyone who enjoys the realism and more immersive elements FM employs. Play how you enjoy.
But if you have a wheel and are finding FM to feel a bit too serious and an unenjoyable slog, try the custom circuits in Horizon 5. You might find yourself having fun driving again.
