I absolutely love this game and hope...

I hope that when horizon 2 comes out there are still a lot of people that want to play FM5. I am kind of on the fence about gettin horizon 2 after playing the demo looks absolutely gorgeous and awesome but is definitely a different type of game comparing the 2 is like apples to oranges. thoughts?

Even if I do take the plunge and get Horizon 2 I will definitely be playing alot of FM5 still. Like you said, comparing the two games is like apples to oranges. I prefer the precision and feel of Motorsport and will definitely be playing this game until FM6 is released.

Forza Horizon very different than Forza 5 yes?

While I adore FM5, FH2 is the more appealing game to me and will likely see more use come the end of the month.

+1

For all my road raging, road avoiding, vineyard destroying antics I will definitely play FH2. The openness is amazing (based on the Demo) and it seems the only real reason there are roads there us because that’s how we tend to get around as an automotive society. You don’t really need them that much in the game :stuck_out_tongue:

As for my road driving, racing fun, I will most certainly be playing FM5.

There never seems to be anybody playing FM5 in the first place. Don’t think FH2 will result in a noticeable drop. The drop occurred long ago but I think the game Destiny isn’t helping. Everyone seems to be playing it. I’ll probably get it and maybe Horizon or something cooler for Christmas.

I’ve noticed since Destiny came out most lobbies I join only have a handful of people in them at best. Sometimes if you’re there awhile they’ll fill up more though.

I’ve been playing FM5 almost daily (even it’s only 10 minutes maybe) since release-day. That is more/longer than I spent on any other FM-game so far.

I’ll still be on Forza 5 until Forza 6 comes out. Don’t fear.

I’m getting Horizon 2, but it will never replace the real Forza.

I’m expecting to get H2 soon just cant decide which bundle I’ll opt for yet and initially it will be my focus game but I will keep returning to FM5 and like others have said the current drop off my be to do with other game releases. One thing I think I’ve noticed recently though is an appreciable drop in the number of crashers in MP hoppers so perhaps for now they are getting their fix elsewhere.

If you take Forza 4 as an example, plenty of people carried on playing it after Horizon came out. Heck, Forza 4 and Horizon are still being played now. You’ll have nothing to worry about, there are hardcore racers who only stick to the motorsport games, and they always will. It’s a totally different experience, and some people prefer the clean precision from hooning through fields.

I’m a F5 fan girl, i will be playing both

I tend to play both too. Depends what mood i’m in. Sometimes I want a sunday morning cruise around the 'ring, other times i’ll take a long run along the coast to Nice.

I nearly brought Horizon 1, but there was a free playable demo … and five minutes with the physics engine was enough to confirm that I would give it a miss, didn’t even bother getting it way after launch when price dropped. Last night I watched some someone streaming Horizon 2 for a big you tube game channel… both the guy playing and his mate who was ‘helping’ during the broadcast seemed to be bored with the objectives in the game, they were struggling to find anything interesting to do and I presume they were getting paid (minimum wage was probably too much for these two pros SIC) to promote the game.

I think if you are into driving through cornfields why would you buy this when there is a huge open world game available on 360 that has similar physics and the option to get out of your car/bike/plane/boat, and run around too!!!

If T10 could build horizon with a realistic physics engine I would definitely buy it!!! think fujimi kaido on a bit bigger scale it would be great.

Those two guys playing it seemed to find plenty enough to do, plus the guy on the left (Chris) knows nothing about cars and car games. Not exactly the best source for information. Shaun on the other hand was simply trying to find the most exciting things to show off. That doesn’t mean the game is boring. He was not playing the game for himself, he was playing it in the mode of a reviewer. Not the easiest situation to play a game in.
If you’re not impressed by it, that’s fine. Keep on playing FM5 or whatever and enjoy it. I’ll be giving Horizon 2 a chance for my hooning needs when i’m not trying to shave hours off my lap times in FM5. lol

I will continue to play FM5 until FM6.

I also intend to keep painting on FM5 and releasing paints as I have over the last 10 months or so

I’ll be playing both games, they’re different enough to warrant a share of my play time.

Just like FM4/FH1 on the 360, FH2 will be what I turn to, to relax from the stresses of trying to crack a top 1000 time on FM5. FM5 is for racing, FH2 is for relaxing.

after playing the demo for horizon 2, if someone jumps ship from motorsport to horizon, I probably wouldn’t of wanted to race them in the first place. Honestly I think horizon is just a less childish version of NFS with watered down physics. They seriously could have done better by not giving the cars arcade handling models.
