I would definitely prefer something like strategically placed tire walls … that is, until someone tags my bumper and sends me into one. So, let’s not carried away with the real world comparisons. Sticky grass is what it is.
Did we forget about the ‘sticky-grass’ at Silverstone too? I’m learning to control my throttle coming out of the first sweeper of the first turn at the International Circuit. Too wide or land one tire just a tad off the track and it’s a 360 degree maneuver. Not fun when I’m trying to establish a respectable time on the Leaderboard. I’m not complaining tho, I don’t miss the days on FM2 when all you had to do was drive a circle within the tracks environment to establish a top 10 time on the Leaderboard.
