My forza horizon (games with gold) on xbox one has huge framerate drops. its impossible to play. afther the fist race with the Subaru or mitshu, it happens every time when i am 1 min in the game. i downloaded on my internal HD. then deleted the game. downloaded again on my external HD and still the same problem.
Is the problem with my xbox one or is it the game itself?
Does anyone has the same problem???

Same problem here, it’s unplayable.
Mine runs perfectly. I am not on the preview program and I do not use any multimedia apps either. Make sure you reset the Xbox 360 cache and that all other apps are closed before playing. This is what is being said on Reddit iirc.
Ditto. I’m sitting with fiber Internet with 250Mbit/s down and 100Mbit/s up, so it’s not the Internet on our end. Must be the servers.
yeh its happening to me as well… only way to fix it is to restart the game.
I have the same Problem. In the last time there are many problems with the Forza-Games and the rewards program.
same problem, installed it on xbox one, downloaded all dlc, got my profile back and when i start singleplayer there are massive framedrops 
For the most of the time the game runs fine, but I do get those drops occasionally. 
Same framerate problems after about 5 minutes of playing around on my old save file. Actually I got two medals in the Ford GT, but the update would always fail so I would never be awarded them.

It starts off ok but like many others have stated massive drops in frame rate and the HUD starts flickering. I also switched it from my external to internal hdd and it performs the same on both. I can do a spinning burn out and the screen will freeze and sit there for a several seconds with the music playing. I thought that maybe the tropical storms were playing havoc with connectivity but FH2 runs fine.

iv found a fix that seems to have worked for me…goto xbox one settings/system/storage and clear xbox 360 cache. your xbox will restart then it downloads 360 profile and save games again and mines been fine since. hope it works for you guys.

Did this but after an hour or two of gameplay the game starts framedropping again.
Mine’s do well for sometimes, then the framerate drops severely and the game is totally unplayable and it won’t stop unless i restart the game, i also can’t access any of the online features(not even the message box.)
I hope they fix the problems fast since i counted on Horizon 1 to make the wait for Horizon 3 easier.
Ive been doing a restart on the system every time it happens
I found I had issues with the disc edition, since I downloaded it for free and did not use the disc it seems fine now
its the same. Disk isn’t use. XboxOne Always download whole digital game.
I can’t test right now, but might be worth trying while the console is offline?
