Yesterday i got the framerate issue… i notice that if a disconect the Xbox one from the internet… it starts to run fine… so its seems to me that is a server problem, on T10 side…
This is just a theory on my part, but I think it may have something to do with Horizon’s servers (where they store paintjobs, ghost information, etc.). I had noticed yesterday when I was playing that it was having trouble communicating with their servers most of the time. I couldn’t even load up anything in the storefront. I think what could be causing the framerate issue is that it’s trying to communicate with the server at some point and but it can’t and it gets stuck in some kind of loop.
My other theory is that maybe it has something to do with cloud storage issues and it’s having trouble auto-saving.
Same issue here with framerate drops. It happened on Tuesday when I was disc only and SP. Happened yesterday and today as DLC and online. Just now clearing xbox 360 storage to see if that helps. It rebooted my xbox one.
Did your console restart when u cleared the 360 storage? Mine did.
So far its working fine after the restart and re-download of the save files. Online did about 8 races as a non host. Then offline worked on cars and did a few offline races. No frame drops yet.
Yes, it restarted after the deletion. Once it was synched again, the framedrop was there right away. Maybe it has something to do with DLCs that people have? I have everything except for the season pass, I think.
I told playground games on twitter and what I got back was try resetting your cache by restarting your #XboxOne - if this doesn’t work you need to get in touch with @XboxSupport. I told them its not just me having this issue its everyone and also the dlc not working and servers not working. I told them its all over the forums on here that everyone is having these issues and not just me.
Then they told me again if the cache reset doesn’t work to contact xbox support. useless people.
1.Press and hold the power button on the front of the console until it powers down completely.
2.Unplug the power cable from the back of the console so that the power brick in not connected to the console.
3.Press the power button on the console three or four times. This will ensure that any remaining power in the battery is drained, clearing the cache on the console.
4.Plug the power cable back into the console.
5.Wait for the light on the power brick to change from white to orange.
6.Turn on the console using the power button.
There seems to be different advice going around. One is deleting the 360 storage, another is clearing the cache. I did the storage thing before, now I just tried the hard reboot (which clears the cache), which seems to have worked - for now. I’ll be back if it acts up again.
i did nothing. after the horizon server finally went down the framedrops are gone. no more drops, all dlc are working and i can search for lobbies. but the club 1000 medal dont save. sems like the servers are the problem.
I’ve been doing the delete 360 storage trick, it works but after about 2 hours the game starts getting framedrops again. Hope they fix it soon because if it continues i’m not playing it.
