HUGE FRAMERATE DROPS MAKES IT IMPOSSIBLE TO PLAY. to 5/10 frames/sec

Yesterday i got the framerate issue… i notice that if a disconect the Xbox one from the internet… it starts to run fine… so its seems to me that is a server problem, on T10 side…

This is just a theory on my part, but I think it may have something to do with Horizon’s servers (where they store paintjobs, ghost information, etc.). I had noticed yesterday when I was playing that it was having trouble communicating with their servers most of the time. I couldn’t even load up anything in the storefront. I think what could be causing the framerate issue is that it’s trying to communicate with the server at some point and but it can’t and it gets stuck in some kind of loop.

My other theory is that maybe it has something to do with cloud storage issues and it’s having trouble auto-saving.

But again…these are only theories.

i also thought that going offline on my xbox one would solve the issue

the game worked fine for about 45minutes and then started having seizures again.

so its not entirely a server related issue.

Same issue here with framerate drops. It happened on Tuesday when I was disc only and SP. Happened yesterday and today as DLC and online. Just now clearing xbox 360 storage to see if that helps. It rebooted my xbox one.

Clearing 360 storage did nothing for me. Still REALLY bad.

Did your console restart when u cleared the 360 storage? Mine did.

So far its working fine after the restart and re-download of the save files. Online did about 8 races as a non host. Then offline worked on cars and did a few offline races. No frame drops yet.

Yes, it restarted after the deletion. Once it was synched again, the framedrop was there right away. Maybe it has something to do with DLCs that people have? I have everything except for the season pass, I think.

And we are back to super chuggy unplayable framerate. :frowning:

So after doing that the DLC and servers show up and work? I’m at work at the moment and cant try this myself.

I told playground games on twitter and what I got back was try resetting your cache by restarting your #XboxOne - if this doesn’t work you need to get in touch with @XboxSupport. I told them its not just me having this issue its everyone and also the dlc not working and servers not working. I told them its all over the forums on here that everyone is having these issues and not just me.

Then they told me again if the cache reset doesn’t work to contact xbox support. useless people.

how do you clear the xbox 360 storage on an xbox one?

i want to try it out and see if i still get problems.
only dlc ive got is whatever stuff came with the preorder all those years ago.

1.Press and hold the power button on the front of the console until it powers down completely.
2.Unplug the power cable from the back of the console so that the power brick in not connected to the console.
3.Press the power button on the console three or four times. This will ensure that any remaining power in the battery is drained, clearing the cache on the console.
4.Plug the power cable back into the console.
5.Wait for the light on the power brick to change from white to orange.
6.Turn on the console using the power button.

oh is that all?

i had to do that the other day anyway because a power outage caused the xbox one psu to flatline until i reset it.

so, no it doesnt fix it for me either then.

The framerate issues seem to come and go. Hope Microsoft sorts out this poor emulation soon

There seems to be different advice going around. One is deleting the 360 storage, another is clearing the cache. I did the storage thing before, now I just tried the hard reboot (which clears the cache), which seems to have worked - for now. I’ll be back if it acts up again.

seems to work temporarily…

i did nothing. after the horizon server finally went down the framedrops are gone. no more drops, all dlc are working and i can search for lobbies. but the club 1000 medal dont save. sems like the servers are the problem.

I’ve been doing the delete 360 storage trick, it works but after about 2 hours the game starts getting framedrops again. Hope they fix it soon because if it continues i’m not playing it.

I tried both didnt work. Still cant get servers or dlc. This sucks.

youre lucky you get 2hrs.

i can boot the game and itll work fine (dont even need to clear the cache each time) but then will bug out after 45mins or less.
