HUD item size and layout customization

This is a screenshot taken from the new Blind Assist Video launched yesterday for upcoming FM

The HUD element Time gap will render right on top of left mirror in cockpit view.

Solution - Make HUD elements movable.

I’d love to see customizable HUD placement. For those who stream or run multiple windows on PC, it can be essential to move HUD around because of how other apps or other window’s HUD can overlap the one in game.

Currently the layout of the HUD is fixed. So my rig is in the way for some information.

Please enable option to have a wider HUD (as FH5 does) or even better, allow the HUD to be fully adjustable (free layout choice)

I would like to see editable Hud items. Able to edit Size and position of Gauges, and other hud items would be amazing!

Agreed; F1 does this and it’s very useful, especially for wheel users.

When turning off the car level progress and segment scores, there’s nothing in the top right corner. The laps stay at an awkward spot to the left of the corner. I also don’t like the spot of the distance to other drivers.
Being able to edit these would be great!

This would be especially useful for streamers who maybe running ultrawide setups etc as it’ll allow them to keep the HUD info on the screen for viewers.

So resizing and moving is essential I’d say for a content creation point of view

I play on a 49" Samsung G9 panel. I’d love to be able to move things around in the HUD to my liking. Horizon didn’t have it. Hopefully it gets added to this title.

With my rig, I have my ultra wide monitor slightly obstructing the bottom part of my monitor, so I would love to be able to move some of the HUD elements such as the sector feedback towards the top of the screen.

Yes, I’d love to be able to pull some of the elements like the tachometer/gear indicator and track map in from the edges of the screen.

Let the players move the elements around to where they want them and lock/unlock them in place with a toggle.

Also, let the players move the HUD elements around.

I’d like to move them out a bit. When playing on my panel, everything is moved in towards the center.

Yeah, I’d really like to have the tac dial closer to the center personally. I’m surprised there’s not a 3rd party overlay utility to generate your own HUD via the telemetry-out?

It’s coming. Modders surely are in their labs working.

I don’t know that’s an “accessibility” issue per se, but having built multiple rigs myself, I totally get where you’re coming from. Moreover, being blind in my right eye, I’m going to upvote this simply because I need to be able to use a thumbstick to position the speedo/tach on-screen to suit my own (severely limited) peripheral vision. That is an accessibility issue. And it would also suit your needs as well as my own.

I would argue that it impacts accessibility. If critical screen elements are occluded, that’s an accessibility issue.

The same thing could happen with high DPI scaling, or an extra large display for visually impaired players.

I’m actually shocked this doesn’t have more upvotes. Moveable/resizable HUD elements that can be toggled on/off would be a very welcome feature.

I would love for the HUD to be fully customizable.
Personally I don’t want a lot on the screen while I race, I feel it takes away from the immersion.
All I need to see is which lap I’m on, my position and the mini map. And maybe not all the time.
If we could select and deselect any and all of the HUD elements, everyone would be happy.

Let us scale, position and adjust the opacity of the HUD.
It currently is designed for a 4K TV from 6 feet, which looks trash on a 4K monitor from 3 feet.
The HUD covers up nearly 1/3 of the total screen in all with useless clutter.

Instead of placing a neat HUD along the top - or a dynamic HUD that limits the amount of crap on screen - you decided to cover every corner and space on the screen with different UI elements. If you are going to make such an awful UI can you please let us adjust just how much it ruins the game.

Is Forza Motorsport support the G-force monitor in HUD?
