Turn10 make a New HUD!

Turn10 pls make a new HUD that is more inline with racing and not what we currently have, its outdated and lacks features and information

Please elaborate.

Gran Turismo… a game where HUD covers nearly half of the screen and you cannot customize it :upside_down_face:

Have you checked if the telemetry view doesn’t have the information you’re missing?

I would like to see my lap times if I play time races. All I see is the distance driven but no lap times. This is an oversight that could be fixed easily. If I press pause I can see my best lap, but that’s all.

I want current lap, best lap and last lap in the HUD. Or at least current lap and best lap, last lap doesn’t HAVE TO be in the HUD but it wouldn’t hurt either.

1.The rpm is in the far right it shouldn’t be in
2.no realtime delta like in every other sim/simcade game
3.The usless training turn xy no one needed

Did i say it 1:1 no right

I said more inline to racing

The telemetry is utterly usless if engine and give almost no feedback iRacing, ACC heck even PC2 doing this better and those games are simracer

And the part with visibility you gonna tell me that all the spot forza fills with useless stuff is better than what GT Sport and GT 7 did

The customization you mentioned in forza you can switch thing on and off but you cant fill the empty space with the map or radar for example

Ong how dense can someone be

Now I see what you meant, just don’t know what screenshot from Gran Turismo was for

Fully customizable HUD would be useful, I agree. Post your request and vote here:

Erm, there is most definitely an option to show that.

You mean the mod but thx for not saying also where it might be then

If you’re on PC you can create your own HUD using SimHub overlays and UDP Data Out.

Data is somewhat limited so default HUD still needed for a few elements, but it does give you more freedom.

I have all these things your asking for and more ie tyre wear/tyre temp, throttle/brake position, suspension travel, rev counter/gear selection/speed, including last lap/current lap and fastest lap. Also track and variation (although not all tracks populate this field) running on a tablet via sim dash, this then allows me to turn off the hud entirely, in game making for a lovely crisp clean cockpit view, the only thing missing which I’d dearly love to have is time gap to drivers ahead/behind.

I don’t need so much information all I need is best lap and current lap, that isn’t too much to ask I would say.

Yes you are correct, and it would be nice to have what your looking for come as standard, however if you look at my post history there is an image of the dash I’ve created “it has subsequently been updated and improved” the app can be used on any phone/tablet once downloaded you can then delete anything on the dash that you don’t want to use.

I won’t use any app to play the game. I simply don’t want to. It’s their job to make the HUD as useful as possible.

They even put the penalty time/distance twice on the screen it’s so stupid, once in the list of the drivers and then next to the list again. It’s like a complete (censored) coded/created this.

Pretty good, here’s the one I’m working on.

Nice :+1:, I’ve tried Simhub however I’m on series x and it’s a total pita to get it running.

I mean what is this? Why they do that?

2 times penalty on screen.

I know that if I turn off the playerlist in the top left then the penalty gets moved to where the list is in the top left corner, but the thing is while the player list is active I DON’T NEED THE PENALTY A SECOND TIME ON SCREEN. It should be in the list only or in the top left corner IF the player list is turned off. But not both.

They could add current lap time and best lap time on the screen SOMEWHERE. There is so much space.

And I would like to have the sector times of training as an option for the races too, so if I drive at for example “Pflanzgarten” on Nordschleife I can see how I am doing there also in races. It’s such simple things and options the game needs, but they are so lazy.

I’m also on Series X.

You do need a PC running SimHub and then send that dash to a screen (I have a DDU on my rig), but I’ve not found it too bothersome after setting it all up.

Obviously we all play the game the way we prefer, and I totally understand if you don’t want to run udp through an external app, as it appears your preferred is to run external view I don’t suppose it makes that much difference having all the info on screen, as my preference is cockpit view only it just makes such a huge difference for my sense of immersion to have all the hud stuff off, hopefully T10 will implement more hud options somewhere down the line.
