no but you can use ‘simhub’ and the games built in telemetry to overlay a g-meter if you really would like one. If this is something you’d really like to do I’d be happy to show you how (this is a pc thing clearly).
If you are on console I believe the game still has a telemetry out function - so if you have a laptop/pc and a phone/tablet you could use simhub to display a g-meter on your device from the games telemetry in real time.
Whilst this sounds good - the telemetry is missing about 80% of the standard information provided by racing game telemetry output so it’s practically useless. However G-meter does work because the game telemettry provides enough info for this.
Not to mention - the telemetry is identical to fm7 with stuff missing - that is to say - it was not ‘built from the ground up’ it’s the same bad patchy missing telemetry from fm7.
The lap counter should automatically be moved all the way into the top right corner of the screen if the player has turned off every other HUD setting thay normally takes place in the top right corner.
I’ve tried to clean up my HUD by disabling most of the unnecessary stuff, still the lap counter won’t move over to the corner. Especially with driver camera this lap counter position is not ideal.
Please move it into the top right corner when nothing else is using that space.
I hope the HUD interface can be more customizable, especially during races when I need to view detailed information about various parts of the vehicle. Currently, I have to press “T” to switch to full-screen mode to display this information. Could you consider making it like GT7, where it’s presented in a small window? This way, it won’t affect the display of the map, lap times, and other information.
