Unless that’s being added with today’s content update, it’s only available at the Festival Sites in Forzavista mode, if an option at all.

Could potentially be part of an update as ManteoMax said (not making this a wishlist but that would be a very welcome addition in my opinion).

Also to my understanding some of the things we see particularly in the trailers aren’t things we can do in the game. They’re there moreso for a nice bit of trailer gloss haha. For example in the Logitech Car Pack trailer the '65 Pontiac GTO was parked in Surfers Paradise and had it’s bonnet/hood up. There was a similar shot in the Alpinestars trailer with the Falcon. This could be a case of that but would be a great addition.

Actually there was a leak a while ago where one of the things being shown that we appearently are getting forza Vista mode outside of the hub.

That was the dev build that was accidently released as an update on the pc version.

Which IIRC “trashed” a load of PC players savegames… Especially those unfortunate enough to have a decent high speed Internet connection that allowed them to download and start it before the devs realised what they had done…

Short answer:
You can’t.

Long answer:
They use developer builds to show off DLC. These builds have features and options that aren’t available in the retail version, such as full camera control, additional filters and other various effects, along with the ability to place objects wherever you like. Most of these features aren’t in the retail version because they may not be fully bug-tested, may be exploited by players or may cause other issues that the developers would rather keep hidden.

If Turn 10 doesn’t want people to find glitches for use in Photomode, then they should give us more features in a future update. As well as future Forza’s because at the end of the day giving us more features will allow people to be more creative. Instead having say the option to not turn off headlights, limits what we can do when it comes to say a close-up shot under an external light source like on the side of a house. While the option to no-clip would give us so many options when it comes to engine of interior shots. And last but not least. If we could disable the driver, then just think of the car profile or still shots we could come up with.

I agree, however I suspect Turn 10 is paranoid about letting players peek behind the curtain since they project this game as “the typical casual player” might just assume that noclip = broken game.

I can do this in Forza Motorsport 6, but to somebody who doesn’t know how videogames are developed it might appear that the game is broken.

If there’s one thing Turn 10 works hard to maintain (and is somewhat paranoid about in my opinion) its the appearance to the general public that its games are always extravagant, beautiful and perfectly formed.

I would love to see this come in FH3 or future Forza games. I mean having cars like the Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster and other Roadsters in the game with the top on the car just defeats the purpose of even having the Roadster version ingame. Might as well just leave the roadster out of the name.

Oh, I really hope this is included within today’s update!
Opening roofs was one of my favorite features of TDU2 what I am missing in FH.

S2000 without wing and roof? Give me that chance!

I’d like roof control, not to take down but rather to put up. It detracts from any realism when you cant raise your roof even though its siling it down. Thats not to say I wouldn’t drop the top when the sun is shining. Id also like to see hard tops added as an option in the aero parts modding tab for those of us that paint race/rally reps.

I’d like to see the ability to remove roofs (or add them to already roofless cars), even if it was only able to be done in the Horizon Hub garage. And, I do think it’s a little irritating to be teased like this.

I dont need too much. Only the option to add/remove roofs on convertibles cars in the warehouse. Why not on Shelby Cobra?

Three words, That. Looks. NICE!

Playground/T10… I’ll trade you my soul for those convertible roof options and my money… all 31 cents of it.

Ya know you want to
