How much time does it take for support to answer a ticket? Does anybody had a ticket recently?

My issue is very serious and yet support seems abandoned to me, have they abandoned the game after all that time and focus on new projects?

I want to know what else I can do, as I have no idea if they ever saw the ticket or not. Then I googled about it and there was someone that said they took a month to respond.

Should I talk directly to Microsoft or Xbox maybe? Although I am on PC.

My ticket is open for the 3rd day now. Any help will do, thanks.

2 months for my ticket, was resolved.

2 MONTHS?!

wow…I guess there’s no room to protest, they’ve abandoned the game.

Thanks.

May we ask what your issue is, maybe we can help solve it, without involving support (in case they take a long time).

I don’t think you can help, hell, they knew the problem from tickets long ago and didn’t fix it back then. There is proof and screenshots in my previous tickets about other issues, which could’ve been created because of this dual tag in one account.

I have a different game tag than this one, so all my progress is lost now that I reinstalled the game after I got a new PC. Lots of progress.

So they have to reattach the other game tag to my account somehow, or transfer its progress to this game tag.

I don’t know how those got mixed anyway, THEY gave me the game tags, I only bought the game ONCE and it worked fine with the other game tag.

Honestly that seems like user error. You make it sound like you have two gamer tags. If you do, your save can only be linked to 1 account, not both.

How is this a user error? How can I have two tags when I have one email and one game, and they gave me the tag themselves? How can I even choose my tag or have two tags for a game? If that’s possible, then why not use the other tag anyway?

Plus I mentioned this issue to them years ago and they were fine with it, didn’t change it. Microsoft knew, forza team knew and yet while they helped me with some other issues, they let this go.

Because you need a gamer tag to save progress and play online.

You said in your original problem that you have a different gamer tag than the one you’re posting on. Gamer tag A and gamer tag B. If you play and save on A you can not transfer any of it to B. If you started a new account, B, you cannot transfer saves from A.

Anything wrong with that, you need to clarify.

In that case, I just want access to my other gamer tag. How can I do it?

I sign in with my email, the email the game is registered with, and it automatically logs in with this account. It did in game, it did in xboxlive, and in xbox companion, and microsoft store. I never get the option to sign in using my other gamer tag, so I can send confirmation to my email etc and log in with it.

Did you notice my post above about using the Xbox Console Companion app to switch accounts, that is how you switch between different Xbox accounts on PC.

I can’t switch accounts, I don’t have another account, I never get the option to sign in with a different gamer tag. You log in with the email and password, and the gamer tag comes up automatically and it’s not the one with the progreess.

However, I can still search the gamer tag with the progress and it appears, shows no email and I can’t have access to it. How can both it and me have the game. Either they gifted me a game in which case I want that account and not this one, or there can be two gamer tags in a single account, in which case there has to be a way to log in with a different gamer tag.

This is not a double account issue, because I only have one copy of the game and they can’t both have the game.

OK, now i understand what is/was the problem

FN - you have 2 accounts on the same login/password?

PS. please stop quoting all of the messages

Same Windows account login/password, yes. Same Xbox live account, no. (I understand how people can be confused, because Microsoft doesn’t make the process very clear.)

My two Xbox accounts are on different email addresses.

How can I change gamer tag within the email then?

It can’t be any other way, because I only have one copy of the game on this email, confirmed by xbox app.

I’ve tried to explain it to you the best I can but I think it isn’t working so I’ll leave you to try your luck with support I guess.

What I will say, the idea of them merging two accounts / saves somehow is something I don’t think they either will or even can do, even if they wanted to. I literally don’t think it’s possible for that to be done.

Here is how you switch Xbox accounts while still being logged into the same Windows account (it is confusing because of the terminology Microsoft uses. ie. they call it a ‘Microsoft account’ and make no reference to Xbox live, even though the types of accounts seem to be synonymous).

(This won't help the OP solve his problem though I don't think, indeed I think his problem if I am understanding it correctly, cannot be solved as such.)

No, you seem confused about how it works - it doesn’t work like that. I only own one copy of the game, which I bought on my main account, but I do nonetheless have two distinct Xbox live accounts which both have access to the game in Windows.

I am not prompted to choose gamertags either, if I do the things you do. You have to manually choose it through the Xbox app as I explained previously. You will then get the option to enter a different email and password (and if you have forgotten the password you can get it reset).

I don’t know of any other email that has a different gamer tag.

There is no option to show the email of a gamer tag, nor log in with a gamer tag.

In xbox app if I sign out, I can only sign in with the email, I only have one, and the gamer tag is this one automatically.

If I switch accounts, I can only create a new account or log in with an email. I used the “forgot user name option”, yet the email IS the user name and just says I should try and log in. No gamer tag option anywhere, it’s tied to the email.

Mine was about 2 years ago, still not fixed.

Three weeks, and no reply whatsoever. I won’t name names, but the guy assigned to my ticket has the same reputation on Reddit. Streams games on sometimes a daily basis, but basically ignores support requests.

Worst thing, or so it seems to me: Playground, Turn 10 and Microsoft simply don’t care. What a strange world we live in.
