Just curious, but how many unique cars are in the game at its current state? 700? 800? 1000? Also how many are in your garage?
The Car Restrictions menu in Free Play shows the total number of cars currently listed in the game if you have all DLC: 829.
The 829 number includes promo DLC that isn’t available to download from the Marketplace, and 1 unidentified Ford. Someone with all DLC could potentially have all 828 cars in their garage.
If you’re defining “unique” by model, you could cross off the Forza Edition variants and bring the number down to 779. You could also limit racing cars to one model per manufacturer where the other models have the same specs but different liveries, and drop the number down to 740.

…Or 826 if you happen to live outside USA, since you are not getting the 2 Paganis “Totino’s” 
Which sadly the game won’t let you buy even from the auctions.
Also, about the unidentified Ford, it could also be a kind of glitch, as there is a Ford with all the appropriate specs that does appear (2015 Ford Falcon XR8).
And, there is also a fun game of collecting to play, by collecting all the cars with their higher collection value (usually those from the Speciality Dealer).
All in all, apart from those two Totinos, the only cars I’m still missing is the Lotus Eleven with higher collector value (I do have the “normal” one, but the 45 bonus points for the SD version is my last target)), and a seemingly elusive Ford SVT Cobra R that seems to have appeared once with a 999 collector value. Still not enough to reach level 47, but getting close

Yes … and no.
It’s the infamous ‘Null Car’.
It’s inside the game for good reason, but it shouldn’t be listed.
And yes it’s the 2015 Ford Falcon XR8.
I heard about that car, but what year is it?

According to the Collector’s menu, I’m missing somewhere around 20 cars. Virtually all of them Legendary. They are all locked so I don’t feel too bad. Guess I’ll have to wait patiently for them to show up as forzathon awards.
