How many downloads for amatuer painter?

Currently stuck at freelance painter, I have 650+ vinyl downloads, and 200+ design downloads. How much longer till amatuer?

I went to amateur at about 249 downloads I think. It counts uses and likes as well. I’m not getting many downloads now

Your ranking is determined by the total # of Downloads, Likes, and Uses. Below are the thresholds for each rank (the same for tunes and designs).

500 Amateur
2500 SemiPro
5000 Pro
10000 Elite
50000 Legend

The threshold number here is the sum of downloads, likes, and uses for all of a user’s liveries or tunes. Likes are weighted higher than Downloads, followed by Uses.

Just got my elite tuning rank today at 4,000. I got my semi-pro at around 1,000 and Amateur at around 200.

On another note what counts as a use?
Does it count every time a loading screen ends with you using that design (every free roam, race, rivals, session, etc.) or is it only every time someone gets into the car even if they stay in the car for hours?

This is one feature that really needs an overhaul. It’s one of the most abused features of the game in regards to legendaries just sitting in the action house and manipulating the market. What they should do is either get rid of it completely or make it so that the legendary status has to be earned monthly like a club membership. You have to have x amount of downloads in the last 30 days or no legendary for you.

I only have about 150 downloads and I’m an Amateur painter, so it may well be down to a combination of downloads and Likes, and maybe even the amount of designs in the storefront itself. Either way, it’s all very vague.

It’s not “very vague” at all. JonK above works on the Horizon team at T10 and just listed above EXACTLY how many combined design downloads, likes and uses it takes to reach each status level. How is that in any way vague?

Hey guys I don’t understand how this works but hope to get some information here…

I have exactly

1.077 vinyl downloads
197 Tune downloads
206 design downloads

The problem is I’m still FREELANCE?
I see people with 200 downloads and have moved to amateur…

Would appreciate the help if any1 knows

Do vinyl downloads count towards painter status

I have forza horizon 3 and on my storefront I have 18,467 downloads of elite painter. I will probably get legend on 21,000 or 25,000 downloads.
