I am an elite painter and I have 14.096 design downloads and 37.060 vinyl downloads how many more before i become a legendary painter?
It’s only based on designs (not vinyls), and is the sum of downloads, uses and likes. For Legendary it’s 50,000 total if I recall correctly (I think Elite was at 25,000 total).

Not sure about that numbers. I had elite at around 8k downloads.

The tiers are the following combined downloads, likes and uses of shared designs:
Amateur - 500
Semi-Pro - 2,500
Pro - 5,000
Elite - 10,000
Legend - 50,000

It seemed like it took forever to hit legendary for me. But it finally happened a month or so ago. If you haven’t yet, I doesn’t hurt to throw put your own thread to showcase what you’ve got. My downloads seemed to go up once I started my garage thread. Granted I haven’t been good about keeping it updated, but it still helps.

The single best thing you can do to increase downloads, likes and uses significantly is win an official livery contest. But the key to that really being successful is winning a contest on a popular car. Some thought needs to be put into what cars you paint in addition to what kinds of paints you share and how good the paints look. In the past, I have hit on the proper combination of a good-looking paint on a popular car that won a livery contest. On a couple of individual paints in FH3, I have nearly 100K downloads on each one and several hundred thousand uses of each.
That is sick, something to keep in mind!
At the moment I have around 14.500 design downloads, but it is not possible to see an total overview of all the downloads/uses/likes together which is quit annoying :(.
I got banned twice in the last 2 months for no reason. Send them a mail with the question to specify the thing i did wrong, but the answer only refers to the policies. Great service Turn10!
