My friend started my Forza Motorsport game and I want to start over fresh.
Deleted the local save but the cloud save keeps coming back. Tried launching offline but it didn’t work. There is no “delete everywhere” option when deleting the save. What do I do?
You could try starting the game with the console disconnected from the network. Although I think since Forza Motorsport is a game with an “online profile” there is no real save game.
Let me know if you can solve it by starting it offline.
Thanks I tried that and it didn’t work. Offline it will only use “free play” mode which doesn’t make a new save I guess…
As I thought. Forza Motorsport now has an online profile like Fortnite and games like that.

I need to delete my cloud save the option to delete everywhere does do exist for this game. I have uninstalled, deleted local data, etc. Nothing works. I’ve sold the starting car and now I cannot continue in the game bc I do not have enough credits to buy the needed car to continue in career mode. I want to delete my cloud data and start over completely but that option is not available bc it loads cloud data. Please help! Thanks
You can rent cars! Go FreePlay in the Carselection select first thingy then click car there and rent

I will have a similar need to reset my Forza account in order to start the campaign from the beginning.
My account was used by a friend of mine who wanted to test the game before purchasing it and the campaign launched does not reflect my skills at all…
A backup deletion feature would be welcome.

Regardless of validity, I’m highly doubtful that anyone with the power to wipe a save (if such an ability even exists) is going to believe the ‘just a friend’ story… …aaannd now I’ve got Biz Markie on the brain…
You should be able to delete the cloud saves
My Games and Apps.
Click on Installed games.
Now find the game for which you want to delete the cloud saves.
Select Menu (three lines) and choose Manage Games.
Scroll down to Saves.
On the saved File, press the A button and select Delete Save data.
Now choose “Delete everywhere“.
Confirm the action and click on Yes.
Problem is that there is no such file. It was in every game I played but not in Motorsport…
I started to play, get familiar with gameplay and just wanted to start again and it is not possible. It is crazy, really… Such a basic feature.
It is ridiculous… I just want to remove my progress, no matter what is the cause. I do not want to contact anybody, because it is just basic thing.
What next? Maybe they will decide when I can play game.
Doesnt this game require a persistent online connection? If their servers go down, they technically decide when you can play the game too

I want an option to reset my career on this game why can I not see an option to delete my save from everywhere ?
As a loyal fan of the Forza saga, I started the game to practice a little bit and tested out some new simulator equipment, steering wheels and pedals. Once I was comfortable with the settings, I looked my saved game to delete it and start fresh again. My surprise was that this file didn’t exist in this edition, so I searched for solutions over the web and found that the creators unilaterally made this decision. I’m glad that I’m not the only one who’s uncomfortable with this and I’m sure I won’t be the only one who are considering buying the following versions.
On the other hand, you have the opportunity to activate this function in subsequent updates. Unless we aren’t seeing something critical for the evolution of the saga, the decision is not understood in any case.
Its not just FM,its like this with the majority of xbox games.
Probably to stop accounts being hacked and all your game saves deleted.
I am so fed up, I’ve been searching my whole afternoon for an answer. I feel like we need to start a boycott or something at this point to even get a way to request a delete save option, let alone them actually do it. With all the other Forza games you can reset your save but Motorsport has to be different huh?
I’m gonna have to report it for someone to even glance at it.
