Need some guidance, as i want to reset MY cloud data in order to restart FM fresh…
Multiplayer rating - destroyed due to being rammed off the track deliberately yet i was given the pen while they continued to ram others off and yet they finished the race with ZERO-PEN…
Now my rating is near 1000 and every race ive tried since is 3, 2, 1, go!, ram, ram, ram, ram…
i can not play like that anymore, its so bad i now avoid multiplayer even after only a few days of playing… so want to wipe all my progress and restart. when i did my multiplayer qualify series it went as follows:
Race 1 : 3rd place / 11sec pen (given for being rammed off track by another player) / segement scores between 8.2-10
Race 2 : 1st place / no pens / segment scores ranging from 8.7-10
Race 3 : 1st place / no pens / segment scores ranging from 8.5-10
End result : Saftey B & Skill 1290
How can i wipe my data and start fresh?

I will have a similar need to reset my Forza account in order to start the campaign from the beginning.
My account was used by a friend of mine who wanted to test the game before purchasing it and the campaign launched does not reflect my skills at all…
A backup deletion feature would be welcome.

I have since managed to resolve my own issue - unsure if it will help you to, but what i did was:
Main menu > Race > Featued Multiplayer > Introduction - I replayed it, my end result is now S-4289
Main menu > Race > Career > Builders Cup - It to can also be replayed as many times as you like.
After redoing the races and repairing the rating-damage i had, im happy now… Hope it can help you too

Unfortunately doesn’t seem like this is an option. I tried everything from uninstalling the game to trying and removing permissions for FM8 in my Microsoft Account. Resorted to submitting a ticket and support replied today with this:
Doesn’t seem like this should be THAT complicated but I guess it is? Annoying. I decided to let a friend load it up and try it out before he bought it since he doesn’t have Gamepass and now I’m stuck with his career choices. Granted, I saw the above comment about retrying to bump stats up but I’m still stuck with a car I would not have personally chosen to start with.

If you mean the Stock Honda, everyone has to use that car for the qualifying series so its on a level playing field. After that you can use anything provided its in the correct class…
If you mean for the builders cup, you can click on it to view allthe cars your able to use, so an replay it with a car you would pick…

hi one or many reson i want to reset my progres is that well the cars i have are good but i did something that i did not like or i need to get the first game and second of forzamotorsport so i can now the serese of it beter and the maps and upgrades on the xbox 360 with will be hard but he come on it not like they as son the xbox gose out of comision the games will stop selling but wish me luck pls :l
Make it possible to reset Forza motorsport game progress! The community has been asking for it since launch! This is a stupid problem to have and it shouldn’t even EXIST! Whats left of your fan base will certainly suffer because of a lack of control on thier part to decide if tbey want to restart from scratch or not. FIX THIS IDIOTIC PROBLEM!

You can’t reset your progress. Once you’ve made your choices you’re stuck with them. Once again big corporations are taking control away from us. If buying ain’t owning piracy ain’t stealing
You can actually delete your progress in all games Press the start button on the game tile in my games & apps then go on manage storage you can delete reserved space or delete all your progress from scratch keep in mind that deleting your save data can not be undone so make sure your decision is final

Be careful deleting your save/profile as I suspect there is a high probability that you will also lose any gifted/special cars you may have won/received from T10.

Isnt your save backed up on microsoft server automatically and the save you can delete is just a local one? I tried deleting my save with MGSV,deleted the save as posted above then when I restarted the game it went through the synching thing and my save was still there.

Yes there is the synching data thing you can skip and still start from scratch i would look into this first to better understand how the synching system works just to be sure. If you need help searching about synching try these search terms what is synching data how does synching data work i how do I restart a game from scratch & prevent synching on Xbox 1 solution is to cancel synching but double check online as I’m not 100½ sure I’m no tech expert but i do try & solve problems such as this one.
As a loyal fan of the Forza saga, I started the game to practice a little bit and tested out some new simulator equipment, steering wheels and pedals. Once I was comfortable with the settings, I looked for my saved game to delete it and start fresh again. My surprise was that this file didn’t exist in this edition, so I searched for solutions over the web and found that the creators unilaterally made this decision. I’m glad that I’m not the only one who’s uncomfortable with this and I’m sure I won’t be the only one who’s considering buying the following versions.
On the other hand, you have the opportunity to activate this function in subsequent updates. Unless we aren’t seeing something critical for the evolution of the saga, the decision is not understood in any case.
Pretty much any game that makes use of the cloud for saving is very tricky if not impossible to reset.Why not just replay the first events? What am I missing here?

Just thought i would update this thread with a solution.
I wanted to reset my gaje and start from scratch.
So installed the gane on a different hard drive partition. (Dual boot windows)
The game is saved to your xbox account (nixrosoft email)
So just sign out and sign back into xbox app with a new account.
Hey oresto. Brand new forza from the begining.
You can always continue with your old save or return to normal by signing back in with your main microsoft account.
Bit of a faff but it works at least. Hope this helps someone

This game doesn’t keep track of your wins and losses (or pretty much any meaningful driver statistics really), so nothing to worry about there.
