Can anyone explain why I can only auction my 918 for 1 mill and everyone else is selling for 4 mill??
elite/legendary painter ore tuner status… (many downloads on paint, tunes etc…)
allot of people don’t think that is fair so you don’t need to bring that up. it is what it is and if you wish different, then write it down in the wish list thread

Yep so true they have a ton of cash snap up the car by doing a buy out then resell for 10 to 20 milion 20% mark up would be better and ther paint jobs or tunes aren’t even one off originals could understand it if only one of a kind paint jobs cost more.

I’ve had a search on here but can’t find my answer so hoping someone knows.
I wanted to sell my porsche 918 in the auctions due to the high prices they are commanding.
When I search the auctions these cars are selling for 5mill or more with huge buy out prices.
But when I go to auction mine it caps it just over a million.
Why and how are others going so much more along with setting the High buy outs?
To sell the car for a high price, you must have a higher painter level. For example, people with legendary status can sell their cars for so much money. I think that it’s the same with the tuner status.
I was confused with this too, but some days ago i found the solution.

You need Legendary Painter or Tuner status to set those values. Get to painting brother-man.

For the record it’s not fair is it really. You could put a great tune or paint up and it still isn’t guaranteed to get downloaded. So then how do you achieve a better status. You could also put mediocre things up and manipulate it so that it gets lots of downloads and boosts your status.
Personally I think it should be down to how long you’ve spent on the auction house and how many auctions you’ve won or sold that gives you the ability to sell things for a higher price. The auction house is a separate entity afterall…
I am trying to sell my Forzathon porsches for a couple million CR each (they are fetching pretty high prices) but when i try to set the starting price it will only go up to 794,000 CR and 874,000 CR for the buyout. I’m very confused because people are putting buyout prices for 10,000,000 on these things! How could I charge higher prices like everyone else?

Hi Guys, I have the problem that i can sell my porsche 918 spyder for max 1.270.000 credits selling price. If i am visiting the auction house 90% of the 918s are sold for 10 Mio buying price. So what is the problem that i can’t sell my 918 for 10 Mio selling price as well?

^^^ what he said plus it stops people simply buying multiple identical cars cheap in the AH (usually unicorn or so-called rare HE cars) and flogging them on for a stupid price. Unless of course you’re an elite painter or tuner. Then it’s fine and dandy.
If all the price/“value” is for the paint or tune, it shouldn’t matter what car it’s on, right?
So why not tune or paint Javelins, S10’s, Impalas and charge same money, rather than cars that people want to DRIVE not look at. Or some of the great stuff we get off wheel in multiples? Add value to them.
NO paint is worth millions to me unless complex one off.
I’d pay 100-200k for crushing tune on a car over parts price, getting something I will use.

At the moment alot of the legendary painters / tuners seem to be exploiting those who cant put up the buy it now price. As soon as a low buy it now price comes on it gets bought up quickly to be flipped for quick cash. Ive seen legendary painters / tuners putting up 4 spyders at a time in the AH at the moment.
As far as I know, even if youre not a legendary painter / tuner yourself, If you download someone elses paint and a tune that is legendary and apply it to the car, then you can increase the buy it now price in your auction.
Nope. Tried that with FD3S and still cheap limits.
Same livery and tune as another current auction, so not exclusive at all.
Glad someone got it cheap hopefully not reprised after quick and dirty livery change by a wannabe rather than a real legend.
i wanted to know how are ppl listing the porsche 918 spider for 10,000,000? cuz i own two and i can only list mine for 1.2 mils maximum yet when i search i find ppl listing them for ten mils so how are they doing that?
one follow up question…how do you check what your status is???
