Legend tuners and painters can set buyouts up to $20,000,000 on all cars. It is not a glitch nor a hack. People are falsely reporting these cars and getting them taken off the auction house. I have two rx7s that were taken down and are greyed out, dont know what will happen to them, but reported under false circumstances and had a flat black paint. Wish there was a way to contest these reports and get the cars back, and a way to timeout a player that falsely reports a car because they dont know how the price is so high. Hopefully this sets the record straight on theses cars and to end the harassment towards the people that have earned the ability to sell cars for higher prices. legend status is around 21,000 to 23,000 storefront downloads in either paints or tunes
I’ve never even seen a buyout so high… I didn’t even know that it was possible. That truly sucks for those affected. Hopefully, it gets resolved soon.
And how can you be sure they reported it because of the buyout amount and not some other reason?
When it is a stock paint job, and you get messages from people saying that they reported my car because there is no way i can set the prices that high, and that the max they can sell for is around 125,000 so i must be a hacker.
There’s something else going on.
If legend painters really are allowed to set buyouts that high, then nothing would be removed just because someone reported it.
They look into whatever they remove before they do it, not just because some hater threw a fit…
well dang. Shut my mouth. Lol, I’m sure you can’t blame me for being skeptical though.
To be honest if you’re gonna hawk cars for 10 million and not even bother to paint it, it needs taking down until you do better!
I doubt they’re doing it purely because of the price but they could be. The problem is the game gives you no indication that later on you can set higher auction prices. Nothing. Not a single word.
But there are other people who are going to wonder how you’re selling multiple 10 million dollar cars and where you got them. Try selling 1 or 2 a time not 14 and you’ll probably do better.
yeah, I noticed a few the other day like that… it was just an rx-7 in a solid color… I have a few rx-7 (great car, lots of options on upgrades) tried to list them and it maxed me out at 135,000… so I kept it. I looked at it like, one of the million credit painters could snap it up cheap and flip it for millions of credits.
For one i am selling them one at a time, and secondly i’m a legend tuner, i could care less about the paint job. dont know where you get the 14 from, do research first. and telling me to get better at painting and it should be taken down. Because i could care less about paint and more about the tune.
You sound very arragont and up yourself! There are plenty of players out there who produce great tunes and put them on their storefront for free! Not to mention there is no such thing as a ‘world class’ or ‘top 10’ tune because everyone has their own driving style and what works for some will be bad for others… Stop being a greedy little rat! Everybody knows that the RX7 auctions are there because demand is higher for that car than others and not because of paints/tunes which may or may not be any good.
Now put your dummy back in… ![]()
It would be nice if legend painters/ tuners could set a minimum cost on their cars as well as a high buyout. Would make it worth the effort it takes to get there.
I was thinking that was the deal where I see incredibly high buyouts for a car I can list at buyout for at most 64,000. I definitely give props to the talented artist and tuners out there but c’mon. 64,000 versus 7 mil? That’s ridiculous, especially for a “rare car.”
So I’m assuming you have to have legend status as a tuner/painter in order to set high buyouts, I’m elite but can only set a a buyout of half a million on my RX 7.
I have no sympathy for you bro. Just reading your post makes me not like you and happy that people are getting your stuff taken down. Why don’t you go drive cars instead of sit on the auction house trying to rip people off?
Woah, what is with all of the hostility? Just because they can set the buyout that high does NOT mean that you have to buyout a car. That’s what bidding is for. If they put a high buyout, that’s what people are trying to promote instead of somebody just buying out the car with their design simply because they’re not winning. There is no reason to be so uptight or rude about it, come on.
He doesn’t have a design on them. Also, how is he obtaining all of these rx-7’s?
Grim, i dont need a design to sell it if i am a Legend TUNER. Rx7s are always on the auction house, how else you do think i can get them. People get mad because they cant sell theres for that much. you dont have to buy them.
Can you set a lower buyout price or is the game forcing you to start the buyout price at 6 million? That may make a difference, at least in my mind. The HE cars for example, I’d love to set to a lower buyout but you can’t make them go below 5.5 million.
If the regular buyout is 125k, do you really think that 7 million because of a tune is worth it? Paints are very hard to recreate but tunes not so much. What are you cars actually selling for when they sell?
You do at least understand why people may not like you, right? You go around buying out all their RX-7s for 125k, do no work (you don’t “tune” each car, you’ve spent a little time on the tune, wrote it down/saved it, and now you just load it up on the car) and, and you resell the car almost immediately for 56 times the original price (buyout). I’m not saying what you’re doing is wrong, I’m just asking if you understand why people hate you for it?
The idea that any tune is worth that much is comical. I get the idea that painters can sell “one-off” designs at high prices, but it seems odd that forza hasn’t done anything else for them to help them market such cars to other users.
Like the “featured auction”… how long do I have to see ugly painted vipers and Lamborghini compact crossovers with poorly executed paints rather than people who make amazing liveries.
I agree but as said above a buyout price is just a buyout price.
Are they actually selling at the buyout price? Even then if they are selling it means someone thinks they are worth it.
But yeah I personally do not think even a #1 tune is worth that much.
